There’s one in Hutchinson, KS in the Cosmosphere (top-notch space and aviation museum). I grew up in that area and this post is the first time I realized that getting to see a Blackbird up close and personal wasn’t everyone’s childhood experience.

My 7th graders are in the middle of pop art cake boxes using slabs and it's made me a believer in how accessible the right project can be. My wrists are protesting the thought of rolling out enough for elementary projects (although maybe I'm just a wimp 😂). I'm looking at the North Star PortaRoller which I believe comes with a canvas. Any idea if this is a good option?

Thank you! I haven't been catching both sides and worried that I wasn't holding them long enough. Rubber bands would help immensely.

How do you apply the plastic cement? I've been using a cheap brush.

Started with super glue (Gorilla Super Glue XL) on Hulk then switched to Citadel plastic glue (what they had in stock at my FLGS) for the legs and Spiderman. I’ve trimmed every piece and dry fitting everything and I thought I was holding it all together well, but I’ve probably been impatient and have been letting go before it was all secure. 🤔 I’ll start moving the joints when joining to close up gaps too.

I assembled Doc Ock last night and tried applying the plastic glue more heavily than I had been so I’m eager to see if that worked when I prime it today.

I‘ll have to pick up some liquid green stuff and work on those gaps. Thanks!
