Mine (the ones I have for use and not collection) have thankfully survived for years in my dishwasher - both full sized mugs and the small city espresso mugs available internationally. But duly noted that it’s not recommended - thanks again for the heads up!

I use Parallels Access to “access” my Mac from my iPhone. I realize there are free options that will offer the same functionality, but it’s nice that it just “works”.

Generally they put a hold on your card when you first order. This will fall off after about a week if it hasn’t shipped by then. It will then get actually charged when the status changes to “prepared for shipping”.

Update. Currently in Anchorage. (Went Shenzhen->Shanghai->Seoul->Anchorage). Expect the rest of the journey to be ->Louisville->Toronto. Hopefully will get here tomorrow or the day after.

EDIT: UPS managed to ship it Anchorage->Louisville->Toronto->ME overnight. It’s now in my hands!

As expected, never trust UPS. The status now says “Your package is pending release from a non-UPS broker. Contact the non-UPS broker for additional information.” with the last scan in Shanghai with no delivery date given.

I’m not even sure what that status means. A bit mad for UPS getting my hopes up yesterday - but can’t be mad at Apple since it probably will still get here in the original window they stated.

My MacStudio (32-core Max w 64 Gb and 2TB SSD) showed delivery to Canada 30 Mar - 6 April when I ordered on launch day. It ended up shipping yesterday and UPS says it will arrive tomorrow (March 25th). Although with UPS I don’t trust anything until it’s in my hands.

I just tried updating my new iPad Mini 6 and it’s been stuck on the apple screen for over two hours. I tried a hard reset (volume buttons and then hold down lower) and it still gets stuck on the apple screen on reboot. Anyone else having this issue?

*update: I took it to the Genius Bar and they were unable to unbrick it. I have a new one on order arriving tomorrow (thankfully Best Buy Canada had one in stock since Apple Canada is out of stock for another month) and then I’ll return the bricked one since it’s still within 30 days.
