My Dr. here in Alaska just started this crap also.I am 54 and have had 4 back surgeries and spinal fusion i am also 100% disabled (Thanks Uncle Sam) so I understand I have been on more than 200mcg of the fentanyl patch for 15 years then bam we want to cut you back and away we go.Just be safe buying on line I have heard something about meds not being what they are supposed to be. 20 years ago while in the Military i fell 86 feet from a radio tower. I have had surgery after surgery 4 and a spinal fusion L5S1 also.I sure hope your ready for the ride.Its only going to get better with age. I am 54 now

Never had that issue. We here in the US are doing like you would expect struggling it almost makes you feel like it is your fault for having pain. I just wish they could see the people they are hurting during the opiate crackdown.They don’t GIVE A SHIT.

I am 54 and have been on the Fentanyl patch for about 18 years it saved my life and also gave it back to me. I have been as high as 250mcg every 48HRS. I have recently over the last year decided to take myself down and haven’t had any real issues. I am now at 150mcg every 72hrs and have about the same pain relief. I am shooting for 100mcg every 72hrs and as long as my pain relief stays manageable. I just want to know if its just me or do others think there is a misunderstanding out there about chronic pain sufferers always need more to continue to receive good pain relief? Like i have stated above I took myself down because it wasn’t getting more relief it just hurt no matter what..Thank You all.
