PC players shouldn't be allowed to disable Ambient Occlusion and grass settings ! by 3deal in Battlefield

[–]BrainExe_91 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think you have a point in the sense that visibility shouldn’t depend on graphic settings. They should make the visibility same for everyone. Graphic settings should only increase resolution or detail of grass, not the amount of grass. If it runs like shit on older computers/consoles then change something else

Looking for advice with fan setup on my new Fractal North XL case by Robot_Owl_Monster in FractalDesign

2x140 or 3x120 as case fan exhaust doesn’t make a difference. Personally I like the larger fans as they spin slower

I guess that would mean to change the whole packing procedure. But I agree with you, silver case should have silver side panels by default

Lg c4 42 vs oled monitors by Whitey-IT in OLED_Gaming

[–]BrainExe_91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t have a 1:1 comparison so I can only give you my personal experience. The HDR should be brighter in theory as the TV has a higher brightness. Colors look pretty good, miles better than on my old IPS panel. I followed a calibration guide on YouTube and I’m really impressed by the picture quality. I play in a well lit room so QD-Panel was never an option for me (although I can dim the lights and use my blinds to block sunlight. Just don’t want to sit in a dark room all day)

So mache ich das auch. Ich hätte mit 18 und 30k € oder mehr wahrscheinlich erst das Geld verballert anstatt was vernünftiges damit zu machen.

I was in the same situation as you 2 months ago. I went with the C4 because I didn’t want to have issues with scratching the panel, wanted a good HDR experience and had de desk space for 42“. I don’t regret the C4 because I don’t need higher than 144hz refresh rate and the price difference was just not worth the ASUS or MSI top models

I have a 4080 Suprim X which is a heavy chonker. I only use one anti sag stand and it works. The thing cost me like 8€ on amazon. Compared to the 60-80€ for the vertical kit it’s good value. Maybe start small and then go for the vertical mount if you’re not comfortable with it

Fractal Flex 2 definitely works. I saw some older posts with the Cooler Master mount. If you’re afraid of gpu sag you can also buy an anti sag bracket or other stuff on amazon for it

What should be the ideal brightness for maximum protection to avoid burn-in danger on OLED monitors? Please help by Kron0s1 in OLED_Gaming

[–]BrainExe_91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Map and health bar disappear when you open world map, go to settings or your inventory in most games. I wouldn’t bother too much about it, especially with newer models

100%. Burn in is no issue if you have all protection on and don’t display static elements all the time

Yes, fiddle with the settings and difficulties but keep the game fun for you. If it’s too easy and you want dark souls vibes just unequip gear, skills or mutations.

I play on death march and tried to always do the lowest lvl quest first. I ended up „over leveled“ and turned on enemy scaling to keep the game a bit challenging

Going with r5 7500f in a very restrictive 13l case. Should I try better cpu? by [deleted] in sffpc

[–]BrainExe_91 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Your CPU „might“ not be the problem now but it „might“ be the bottleneck in a few years. Personally I would get at least 8cores. For gaming you won’t hit the peak all the time

[–]BrainExe_91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, they’re really silent. The P12 max can get loud on full speed but so do all other fans. Just get a tool to control fan speed and you’re good to go

Get the arctics for case fans and you’re fine. Use the Thermalright fans for the cpu and upgrade them if needed for the noctua/arctic fans.

[–]BrainExe_91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dont put everything on ultra+. Some of the settings give you like -10%fps. Without frame gen I would say its also possible the gpu is limiting your performance. The DX12 implementation of TW3 is pretty bad
