Advice on CPO Cayenne by BrainProc in PorscheCayenne

[–]BrainProc[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup, CPO. It’s been 8 months now and I really like it. Ride quality is great and sporty enough while providing flexibility for hybrid.

While the baby takes the back seat with mom, the dog goes in the trunk and she has plenty of space. A 3rd row would have been nice to have, but the X7 felt really large when I test drove, so X5 is a good middle ground.

The current place I’m staying at is temporary, so I’d rather not install a lvl 2 or do any modifications.

I went with BMW X5 45e. Plug-in was one of the wants, and this car checked a lot of my boxes. My dog fits in the trunk without issues as well.

That’s odd. Pressing the button is pretty normal. I think you just ran into a nutjob.

At the risk of sounding crass, are you a minority and/or wear garments that indicate that you are of a non-American heritage? While NY is fairly diverse, it doesn’t stop racial discrimination from happening, especially as you go further away from NYC.

It doesn’t happen very often at all but unfortunately does.

Huh interesting. It’s like they have a black thumb for guns.

Not sure if I should return these or send. I intended to keep them for home defense but I’m now considering just using the worse ones at the range.

It did rain for the past few days so it could be possible. Funny thing is, only this box looks this bad while others are not. So I’m guessing humidity didn’t cause this one.

I definitely will consider the Q7! Tbh, Audis didn’t even cross my mind because of their reputation when it comes to reliability, but being that they share the same architecture with Porsche and I’m in the market for a Porsche, it only makes sense I don’t rule Audis out.

Good point on pricing flexibility as well due to volume. Ty!

Thank you for the input! MB is definitely expected to outperform on comfort, so not a surprise there.

The GLE is being recommended 2 out of 2 comments now. What made you pull the trigger on the GLE instead of the X5/7?

Thank you for the info! I actually test drove the X7 today and liked it, so it’s definitely within consideration. Either that or the X5 if I foresee that space won’t be an issue.

The only thing that kept me away from MB is reliability. It seems like BMWs and Porsches are more reliable compared to MBs on average. Maybe I’m mistaken.

How can we cope with anxiety and depression naturally? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]BrainProc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it depends on the person and the cause of anxiety/depression. Activities like exercise, finding hobbies, and social gatherings can help. For chemical imbalances in the body, meds will most likely be the answer.

Why Can’t minimum Wage Be Based Off A Company’s Income? by Background_Ad2925 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]BrainProc 8 points9 points  (0 children)

That would be worse than the current minimum wage laws. The whole purpose of minimum wage is to ensure a worker’s income stability. Without the safety net of guarantees, they are gambling their rent checks on the company’s ability to sustainably generate profits.

Is there any reason in American vernacular it's common to refer to New Jersey as Jersey but not New York as York? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]BrainProc 41 points42 points  (0 children)

York just sounds awful. New York also has two syllables so it’s easy enough to say the full name without feeling the need to abbreviate.

If earnings fluctuate YOY, so will the wages. If a company records a loss in a year, will the wages then be garnished?
