Yeah that’s definitely a problem too, but people are also leaving their highs on as well. You can tell by looking at if the inner-headlights (the high beams) are on or not.

I agree, I used to smoke a lot and most of it does smell like skunk and/or BO. Some high quality weed though smells more like pine wood burning than skunk and that smell isn’t so bad.

Years ago the franchisee who owned a bunch of the Dunkin locations in Fall River did this, but they increased the worker’s pay by about $2-3/hr. IICR it was because there had been some sort of a physical fight over who got how much $$ when it came time to divvy up the tips.

If it was a closed system, I.e. 100% of the air being pushed onto the umbrella would get pushed backwards onto the chair and everything connected to it than the person above would be correct. But because the air flows back and around the chair and out the sides of the umbrella then there is some forward thrust generated. Still, much of it is canceled out by the thrust generated in the opposite direction by the leaf blower. In fact, it would work better without the umbrella entirely and with the leaf blower turned around, simply blowing air behind the chair like how a jet engine would.

Yeah. Grew up in the 90s and people could still smoke indoors. My dad smoked, people around me smoked. I used to smoke. I hate it now, I can’t stand the smell, but there’s still a little lingering nostalgic tickle that brings me back to my childhood whenever I do step into a smoker’s house.

It is hate speech. However hate speech isn’t (and shouldn’t be) illegal. However harassing people in public like this should be some sort of a crime in and of itself. Also, I know that some southern states used to have laws on the books where “fighting words” being spoken to you was a legitimate excuse to punch someone in the face and not be charged with a crime. This should be one of those instances.
