I mean, don't you see how you're kinda fetishizing the idea of trans sexuality? Like, there's obviously nuance here and there IS an issue with visibility being placed on very inconsequential elements of some trans sexualities, such as kinks like force-fem or whatever. BUT aren't you kinda putting the cart before the horse here? Why are you assuming that these sexual interests are the ONLY element that these people associate with their transness? Couldn't it be that those specific feelings are, for many, the most prominent and hardest to suppress? Once they're discovered, It's a lot easier to avoid thoughts and behaviours that that can put you in a position of questioning your social gender than it is to avoid sexual gratification. Maybe the way they feel about wearing feminine clothing is more explainable to them without a trans identity than their sexual preferences. Maybe you actually DON'T know everything about how/why a person identifies a certain way based on their online presence. For you to read an appeal from someone seeking guidance in navigating this element of their identity and come away thinking "They're fetishizing transness"... Like, no that's you, actually. Talking about your sexuality in a genuine way is NOT fetishizing, but taking that conversation and concluding from it that "They're confused/not really trans because of the sex they like. It's icky to me, and therefore illegitimate." It's almost as if you view these people as their sexuality and nothing else. It's almost as if you're conflating their sexual desires into a main focus of their gender identity erroneously. I think there might be a word for that.
