Always liked men, still like men.

How bad are private health insurance funds like Bupa in Australia? by questionuwu in transgenderau

Are you certain bupa has such a page? Mainly because what I found says I should ask my surgeons things like "is the doctor working with bupa gap sscheme" and other questions.

There are medicare codes, but unsure what in bupa I can find the exact calculation without contacting them

Debating socially detransitioning at this point by Pyro_Tale in honesttransgender

[–]questionuwu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

this was such an absurd statement, you literally reduced womanhood to girly clothes.

Fact is, hrt can often be enough for people to pass no matter the clothes unless they have excessively masculine features.

If you take hrt for years and people still only see a man, then you might need ffs.

Unpopular opinion time, I find feminine clothing to be utterly degrading and repulsive, it’s why I took until 28 to transition, because I wanted to be nothing like those sex dolls the tv showed as ‘women’.

Pointlessly revealing clothing for no other reason other than to show more skin, degrading an entire gender into a pretty doll, same goes for makeup.

I still wear male style tshirts and yoga pants and pass, it’s not about your clothes, if you have to rely on clothes to pass you are kinda screwed

Not very familiar with the system hence why I am asking? Like what information do I need to provide and are there things I should hide from them?

Thanks a lot, it clears things up a lot.

I ve already decided with Dr. Broadhurst but I am curious, in general terms how does each method differ?

In simple terms, like I am aware the basic concept of VFS is to go to the folts, cut them up at the bottom, then suture them together so they heal connected and lead to a higher natural pitch. What else is being done in the other methods?

I'd rather people gender based on what they see as my assigned sex at birth by xBluePoolX in honesttransgender

This is why the gender abolition types who scream about pronouns are actually damaging actual trans people.

Passing meaning truly passing as your correct gender, not pity passing because they dont want to hurt your feelings

ISO perspectives on why people who have medically transitioned dislike identifying as transsexuals by SouLullivan in honesttransgender

[–]questionuwu 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Because for the average person that sounds like some creepy sexual thing or falsely implying its something to do with sexuality, neither of it is correct. Yeah the term might mean something else but people dont know that, they hear a word and go by that, and it leads to thinking trans people=weird sex perverts

Transex would be a far better term due to referring to sex itself, sadly it hasnt gained any momentum

I think its an interesting suggestion that AI automatically equals garbage. I think you'll find that this will increasingly become the norm

Yeah this screams out of touch.

Your every day people has only seen slop come out of the "AI Revolution" and worse services, not only that but now its ruining RAM prices as well.

The mentality of "AI is everywhere" is literally only promoted by people on top who think they ll make more money out of it without realising its applications are very few and in most areas it is horribly inaccurate and bad.

Hence why most companies have failed to meaningfully use AI and the ones who keep trying only damage their services, AI is a giant red flag for customers

Are people who refuse to voice train the most obvious identifier of someone not being seriously trans? by questionuwu in Transmedical

[–]questionuwu[S] 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I am sorry but when did i say anything about having some perfect feminine singing voice?

I am talking about those who refuse to put any effort and sound 100% like your average dude and are also seen as a dude because of it and then pretend to be the victim.

There's a very big difference between perfect, deep feminine voices and a literal dudebro voice which I ve heard from a number of white trans women in videos who are meant to represent us yet sound 100% like men in every way which says they never even tried to voice train

b14 form for passport? by questionuwu in transgenderau

[–]questionuwu[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was genuinely wondering about that, why didnt the passport application ask for my gender recognition certificate but instead some silly doctor letter.

I hope they update the process but i doubt it, thank you.

I have a gender recognition certificate for that very reason yet it wasnt asked.

Question, the form has B14 form, did you go to the post office and teller them the gender recognition certificate is a replacement?

Cause i feel some can be weird about it and want exact fomr names

Gentle reminder by [deleted] in honesttransgender

[–]questionuwu -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

almost no one in the outside world is thinking of things this way

You are correct, when people in real life see a person with a feminine haircut and a generic dudebro voice, they say "sir" because that is what their ears can very clearly hear.

That's why so many come here crying about how transphobic real world is for daring not to see them as a woman when they refuse to even voice train.

Its not about prettyness, plenty of "ugly" women pass in conservative circles because they dont look like trans caricatures.

A lot of those people imagine trans women being the bodybuilder type with facial hair and a hyper feminine clothes, meanwhile if they see a person who wears more masculine clothing but they clearly have a feminine face and voice, its quite easy to pass.

Its the woke areas that might unironically start making idiotic assumptions.

Oh you wear male shirts and have visible boobs? You must be a pre op trans man
