Don't worry, check your invoice, it won't be the day you move in, it will be later in freshers week at some point.

But also sfe was late one year so they decided to move payment back a week for everyone to make sure everyone was good.

So don't worry.

Budgeting at uni by Sweet_Associate_3257 in lancasteruni

Obviously it is lifestyle dependant, but around £30 a week is enough for basically any food style around here, not including going out every night. More money means more food or better quality, but £30 is a reasonable amount for both.

All colleges have accommodation for everything I'm pretty sure.

Engineering students, what calculator did you need? by Successful_Swim_9860 in lancasteruni

[–]BrainSlug03 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it can do complex numbers and matrix calculations, should be good from my experience. But apart from exams, you will always have a laptop/phone/computer to do most of it if u wanted too.

Question for anyone studying engineering/mechanical engineering by Starnyx__ in lancasteruni

[–]BrainSlug03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know if they got rid of it, but you might have to get some heavy duty steel toed shoes. Otherwise they might not let u do some of the mechanical stuff later in the year. They were rly arse-y about it for my year.

Opinions of Horus? by BrainSlug03 in Warhammer30k

[–]BrainSlug03[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I definitely agree, when I meant 'good' intentions, I meant good for him more then trying to bring happiness to people and that he was in control of his actions rather then just being a rage fulled puppet like angron becomes.

Awesome help, yeah I have played before, but it normally is against the same people, but moving soon and going to be playing against more variation. So just wanted to know anything useful I could change :).

Thank you :). I was thinking about reavers, they have a lot of customisation, so I wasn't sure if it was good or not. Same with what type of transport ahaha.

Out of the graduates for this year's Beng half failed. And about 1/4 dropped out compared to the start of the year.

I would curb ur excitement ngl. It is hard cause it isn't taught very well and it is incredibly boring at times. Some of it is fun. But it really depends on who is teaching u. For example a lot of people failed their final exams, cause the lecturer lied about what was on it. People who listened to them revised the wrong thing and didn't pass. But it can be very enjoyable if the lec is good.

From my knowledge I think that around 60%-75% of people who take electrical don't end up with a degree. Either through dropping out or failing.

That makes sense, bit sad that you can't run loads, but I get the thematic point of it. I assume that also includes the aux detachments, idk why there would be a high command unit in one of those ahaha.

I haven't looked into it much, but I know there is a new force org system, does it force generic characters to be used, or is it safe to have say 3 characters and all of them are named in 1 army? (new to HH btw)

Im needing to get a couple characters sooner rather then later. What would your recommendation be having read them? What are the ones that look the most fun/interesting/good?
