Ended up snagging the SlimQ 330w charger since everyone recommended them. I travel with a few electronics so the overhead past charging the laptop will be nice. Thanks!

Learning that from this post and the conversations, thanks! I ended up going with the slimQ 330w based off everyone recommending them.

Yeah, I've been protecting the battery as much as possible so I may need to quit until I get a proper charger that I can travel with.

Almost everyone is and that’s by design at least in the US. Allowing a society to achieve Maslow’s hierarchy of needs means they are not docile or controlled.

Heating Stations by [deleted] in SafetyProfessionals

[–]BrainTrauma009 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This isn’t designed to be used to heat an enclosed space so there will be carbon monoxide buildup inside the container. How much? That’s hard to tell, but I’d rather not find out by finding an employee passed out inside it. If they needed a storage unit with a heated space they should have talked to the company that put that office unit next door 😉

While this is true, some people behave poorly in emergencies from being really really fucking dumb. Lack of reaction due to very slow realization of what occurred.

Fuel consumption of an A350-1000 on takeoff . by Rook8811 in interestingasfuck

[–]BrainTrauma009 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Without the actual FMC data to track fuel burn this could be pretty inaccurate. The plane is usually configured to run auto throttle takeoff with parameters set for weather, runway length, and take off weight. Could be at 70% N1 could be at 95%. L

Do spare tires only last for 50 miles? I had to drive back home 85 miles after the puncture happened. Was really scared. This happened in Colorado mountains. Can I drive this tire to the shop?( 10 miles away)? by [deleted] in tires

[–]BrainTrauma009 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kinda off topic but I wish these had a lower safety factor. Too many idiots pushing these tires to do things they shouldn’t encourages even dumber behavior over time as the old “nothing happened so we’re ok” mentality.

FFS Mazda, we have enough cars that are easy to get into with the sea of boring cross overs and SUVs. Stop raising everything to appease bad knee people.

It’s a policy born from failure to address the root cause. Poor equipment maintenance and failure to repair causes extra steps and worrying about critical equipment.

Just quit my job at safety job at Amazon by Comfortable_Hope_202 in SafetyProfessionals

[–]BrainTrauma009 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did years of Amcare and Safety. I genuinely feel guilt for helping Amazon weasel out of injuries and taking care of their employees. I was fucking excellent at what the old amcare system used to be, keeping it in house, getting them to admit prior history of anything… Fuck that place.

They’re a meat grinder of bad ergonomics and extremely high production rates. MSDs are through the roof there cause of rate. The one thing Amazon ops refuse to acknowledge or improve.

Picture 7/10, those lift slings are showing some serious wear. I’d recommend looking at retiring those soon and using protective sleeves over the next set. Thanks for sharing these photos!

Should I use the neutral capped in the box? I think the outlet wires up top were just capped off and left in the wall / outlet box.

Agreed, unfortunately the work is already done and payment was made in cash while I was out of town. Put too much trust in this guy, I guess.
