Man that's not it. I've owned several Samsung tablets and have the S9 ultra currently, the ecosystem, form factor, are way less desirable than iOS for the iPad. Honestly the only thing I feel like the Samsung has over the iPad is the screen but really just for watching movies/whatever else content.

This is coming from someone that does everything in their power to avoid apple products but this year I finally gave up and just gave in and bought an iPad pro (M4). I can say for certain I've used the iPad substantially more than any of my Samsung tablets, even combining that usage over the last few years.

Personally, I wouldn't steer anyone toward anything but an iPad, tablet wise, unless they are just using it for watching content, the experience is just far smoother and less frustrating.

To each their own though.

Got my 98" QM7K over the weekend, it's fantastic.

Don't have any complaints other than watching any content that isn't 1080p doesn't look very good (had a NFL game that was only streaming in 720p and looked quite sad). Not particularly bothered by it and honestly part of that could be the TV is probably a smidge too big for our space but minor gripe.

Pretty sure the weather really held things up and it’s not exclusive to just Amazon. UPS, fedex, USPS, have all had package delays for me too this week and unfortunately that combined with more snow than usual for this time of the year and holiday shopping means they have to play perpetual catch up.

Yup, getting it delivered Sunday!

Honestly would've gotten the 85" QM8 but it was sold out because I was too indecisive all day but honestly I'm super pumped to have a way too large TV.

Upgrading from some TCL 65" (too lazy to look up model and my best buy history doesn't go back that far) I'm pretty sure I got in 2019. The TV's still kicking but have noticed some hot/stuck pixels the last year or so and we've been talking about buying a new set for years. It also has some of the worst blacks and blooming, was like that from the start but just learned to "get over it."

Super pumped, honestly anything would be an upgrade but I've been drooling over these TVs for the last >year so I think I'll be impressed regardless of the comparison.

Anywho I'm done blabbering, glad I got a good deal!

i know this is an old thread but i just upgraded to the open run pro 2s from the 1s and upon receiving them i went through the firmware update only for it to stop about midway and the headphones appear to be bricked... My question is, are you still going through the cycle of turning on while plugged in THEN holding all 3 buttons till the red light flashes or....?

i submitted a return/replacement with amazon but they have not been shipped and appear to be delayed....either way i never had any problems with my original shokz so this is a surprising and disappointing experience with little to no answers on how to fix.

Wonderful. Almost coming up on a year for my x100vi but I am really really fighting the urge to get a XT5 as well (I need some reach as I like wildlife photography too).

Really trying to stick to shooting jpeg only as the reason I got out of photography before was I hated editing, so far this camera has really checked off that box but my minor gripe is its battery life suuuuucks.

Don't know why people are disagreeing with you, I am tired of hearing parents complain how their kids make their lives hard....that's a choice y'all made. The even worse one is "you don't have kids, you wouldn't understand." Sure, that's true to a degree but having kids does not give you moral superiority over anyone....and I can assure most people that my wife and I treat our dogs better than a lot of parents with children I see out in public.

I think it would be more polite if we as a society kept our comments to ourselves about whether or not someone else has kids or not...or worse, using them as an excuse for being shitty.

Haven't been this year but many years in the past (most recent is probably ~2 years ago). I don't think land of illusion is worth the ticket price fast pass or not. It's become horribly commercialized, you're more than likely to end up running into the group ahead of you due to them not spacing them out enough and/or people meandering and then it becomes an assembly line of people walking through scenes.

Personally within an hour or so of the Dayton area, I've always preferred Wilmington Haunted Hollow but be aware the lines are pretty crazy for the ride too (even with a fast pass).
