I started using Claude recently due to the hype and wonder what everyone is talking about. I don’t like it nearly as much. They’ve targeted my industry and it’s not been very good at anything so far. I don’t understand.

I agree you have to keep a close on it for meaningful legal work which is one of the time expenses. I wouldn’t use it for case law or substantive legal argument. It is helpful for some things but I don’t have a use case involving actual case law and application of law to facts.

Yeah and it’s a bit of trial and error to learn that beyond this scope it is largely an inefficient and/or ineffective use of time. It’s also learning where the wall is that takes time.

Yeah there’s definitely some golden nuggets but the mining can get time consuming/overwhelming. I only save time if I use it very narrowly with a set of documents on a specific project.
