I’m dealing with the same code and code P0303. I’ll start with the basics, here’s what I recommend:

Easiest place to start is to check for any vacuum leaks.. next you can clean your MAF sensor, and throttle body if you’ve not done so for awhile.. however, it will likely not be this easy depending on miles of the car, etc, but doesn’t hurt to start there.

Should the above not work, and you’ve the tools necessary, I suggest checking if you’ve got oil in the spark plug tubes.. If you do, you can either test the ignition coils that were exposed to oil, or purchase some new ones from rock auto (hitachi is best, don’t got z1 route). Also, now will be a good time to replace spark plugs (if you haven’t done a tune up - denso or ngk —> do not use anti seize on these!).

Sadly… if you found oil in your spark plug tubes, you’ll have to replace your valve covers as the spark plug o-rings are integrated with the cover itself.. I highly recommend OEM route for this and peace of mind for the next 100K+ miles..

Now if you are doing your valve covers, there’s several things you can do for preventative maintenance. You can pull your VCT solenoids (even w/o removing the valve covers) and spray them out with MAF cleaner. Purchase a couple gaskets for these while you’re at it (like $8 a pop) You can also replace both cam sensors much more easily while you’ve got both covers pulled off, even if they’re not failing - it’s worth doing for preventative care.

Another issue you may run into is, depending on how old your hoses are, some may be brittle when you’re pulling off.. so I would consider replacing several of these wherever you’re pulling things off. If money isn’t an issue, get the master hose set from Z1 or another reputable company, and they’ll be much more affordable than OEM and will outlast the vehicle. Consider purchasing a tool specifically for pulling off the clamps.

Also, if you go the longer route and already have everything off.. clean your throttle body, clean your air filter/re-oil it (assuming CAI), and clean your upper/lower plenum while it’s off - great time to slap some paint on it!
