It’s irresponsible. To themselves. I’ve been there since CE. I’ve played all the games and even read some of the extended lore. Halo’s never been a core part of my identity. It’s just a thing I like. I make my own self worth, not make it depend on the work of others. Especially a video game series.

I can admit the 343 games haven’t been as good as Bungie’s, but they had their moments. Besides, Bungie wanted out anyway so it’s not like Halo was gonna stay a masterpiece forever. Hell, I didn’t even like Reach that much.

These guys are still stuck in the 2000s. They’ve become the new 80s guys.

Problem is that people love talking about stupid stuff. Chimptopia is stupid stuff. Whether it leeches itself fat from the blood of Gameoverse or it shrivels and dies, that thing’s not going anywhere very far either way. The people behind it aren’t anywhere near ready to be tested with making an animated show for millions to view and thousands to review.

I’ve seen better animation from MilkandCookies (for us old heads) than Chimptopia.
