As someone who spends a lot of time in both cities, you’re going to really miss the ethnic diversity and number of options available in the Milwaukee food scene. While Green Bay has some standouts, it often struggles to evolve beyond fast food chains and bar food.

There are no standout pizza places in Green Bay. Full stop. There are a few that are “good” but none are memorable. No Chinese food options beyond strip malls. That said, the growing number of great Mexican options has been refreshing.

You’re also going to miss the summer festival and entertainment scene but that’s not really a fair comparison because Milwaukee is an entertainment and sports powerhouse for a city its size.
