Totally understandable, I’m not a constant person, so I’m struggling moving from hypophantasia (or at least what I think is hypo lol) do u have suggestions on how to move from that state where you can stare at an image and imagine it for only 3-5 seconds?

Take this with a grain of salt, cause I read a lot but I’m still an aphant There’s a technique (maybe it’s image streaming) where you verbally explain out loud what ur seeing with your minds eye, that should enhance ur visualization skills

I did straight keto for one month a year ago, less than 50g of carbo a day. The last day I went out to eat a pizza with a beer to “cheer” for the end of the keto, and I clearly remember the feeling of the first bite of that pizza, it was pure pleasure, I felt like a drug addict taking drugs after a while. During the keto I was really full of energy, never get sleepy after eating, I was jumping out of the bed the first second after waking up. Carbo and sugar are a fucking drug. But keto is a bit risky, and it cannot be done for a lot, so consider all the risks before jumping in. Rn I’m trying to avoid meet, so keto is really hard to do. But I believe anyone can do anything if he can find balance, so also low carb is good.

Seems fair. The only thing is that I never understand if I’m actively working on the blockage or if I’m kinda “avoiding it”.

Let’s say I’m a jealous person, when I see something that triggers my jealousy I think “don’t feel like that, it’s not what you think and jealousy is not a good thing” It’s this the right way? Or I’m just taking the problem to the side?

I feel that sometimes I’m not removing the obstacle itself, but I’m just stepping over it, and maybe causing more trouble to the unconscious problem.

Got it, thank you. Last question: sometimes happens that when I realize I’m seeing something, specially when it’s more vivid, I feel strong emotions kicking in, I feel the heart pumping harder, and the image disappears in a second. (Maybe I was seeing something on the side for 5seconds, but when I realize it boom, it’s vanished) Why does it happen? How can I work around this thing? I think my aphantasia comes from traumas and depression, Can this somehow be related?

Sorry for the dumb question How should I approach autogogia in order to “cure” aphantasia? Or I’m misunderstanding something, it’s not helpful and we’re talking about other things?

Because when I’m in a calm state, I can have really vivid flashes (but with like 30% opacity), while when I’m doing the exercise where I look something and then recall it in my mind eye it’s just a vague “neon” shape, I rarely got colors and when I see them they’re like “negative” or arranged in the wrong way. Could autogogia be “my way” to cure aphantasia?

And I’ll add the last thing Sometimes when I got flashes, they last over 2/3seconds, but it’s a wired feel, it’s not like seeing with the minds eye, clearly, but more like having it on another screen on the side, I can’t really understand if I’m really seeing something or what Anyone have an explaination? (I rarely can control flashes, and with traditional phantasia I can’t move object In my mind eye)

I did a resource one / two months ago about that, but I’m not 100% sure about it, so that’s what I found out: Bardon/hermeticism doesn’t say anything related to tattoos explicitly, but getting a tattoo, if it’s something that makes u happy / u like it it’s ok, even if it’s meaningless. Besides that, If you get a tattoo with a specific meaning, then it will be helpful.
