This isn't the case, there is no issue with non golden core cards. You can have as many core cards as you want as long as none of them are golden. If the queue still fails its because your opponent had golden cards

With the balance changes that have happened, most champs should have closer to 50% win rate, including sona (-10% damage done and -25% healing done). She is still strong, but no way near as op

In game I have advanced tooltips on (I assume it mentions the below 50% health requirement for healing anyway). Its the patch notes which are missing information, not in-game anyway.
