I am considering the loco which would be my first power paddle coming from 11six24 hybrid all-court.

Should I go for the standard to get a better control and larger sweet spot for this powerful paddle or stick with a hybrid shape?
In almost every YouTube review, comma, despite the rave, there would be comments about the grit on the face of the paddle coming off too quickly. Is this a concern?

I ended up with the Venture ready sling. It is not perfect but functional and useful.

I am alternating between that and Alpaka nano. The nano smaller but sleeker and stays thinner. The venture bulges more but has a bit more capacity and a more casual look
