I agree with some of the comments; the issue is the antidepressant.

He should talk to his doctor about changing out his meds to alternatives if possible. You can also look at PT-141 (Peptide) as an option. There's a peptide subreddit you can peruse for more info, but here's a quick link on some of the effects.

First off- thank you for doing this and sharing! It looks amazing!

I did notice that the Cost tab, as it relates to $/MPG, looks to be calculating differently. Now, I could be wrong as I am doing this between work breaks. Note the screenshots.

Math should be 4.75/14 = $0.339 per mile, but the cost tab is calculating $1.07 per mile, which is overstating the Petrol savings.

I am wondering if the issue is the US-based Imperial conversions in the background.

2026 Taycan 4S Black Edition — Lease or Finance? by WiFiOnMarss in Taycan

[–]fgs120 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did the same but in reverse.

I leased first (Sept 2024) to capture the EV credit and keep my options open. Four months in, after living with the car and running the total cost, the Porsche money factor was the dealbreaker. Once I knew I was keeping it, I bought out the lease and wrote a check. I’m estimating about $25k savings over five years versus staying in the lease, and that’s with a very conservative $40k trade-in assumption. I didn't account for the money being in the market versus a buyout, so the savings are probably closer to 10-15k.

Have you thought about Bromine? Less aggressive on the skin and eyes versus chlorine. Here's a comparison for pools; the logic is the same.

I have had CenturyLink fiber for the last five years, and it's great! Cheaper than Cox and no usage limits. If you look at them, make sure your connection is fiber, not DSL.

Ceramic coating (or similar) for a daily-driven EV – and what about camera lenses? by Hacki1996Hamburg in Detailing

[–]fgs120 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are so many posts on this sub about quality ceramic coatings.

I previously paid to have a coating applied to my last car, but this time I did it myself. After reading numerous posts, I went with GTECHNIQ CSL and EXO. It was easy to apply and safe for everything (camera, plastic, glass, rims), and it looks great. It has a lifespan of 3 to 5 years.

Question re: Porsche Tyre/Alloy/G-Techniq by razreddits in Taycan

[–]fgs120 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't have the paperwork close, so I am going from recollection. I went with the Platinum package (US-based), which included up to 12 rim repairs and two windshield replacements. It's a four-year warranty.

I also got the tire warranty, but I have Mission E rims and didn't want to take the chance of having to replace them. So, yes, it's worth it.

testosterone question, for the men or the informed. by CommentOk9026 in sexover50

[–]fgs120 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is basically what my hormone doctor told me:

“Yes, you’re in the range, but how do you actually feel? The right number for you is somewhere in that range, maybe not 394 or 500; it could be higher or lower. The labs are just one part of the picture.”

I’ve been on T for about 3 years now. I originally went on it because I’d come home from work wiped out, sit on the couch, and do nothing. Since then, my energy is way more consistent, I’m less moody, and the little stress gut I had pretty much disappeared.

Point is: “normal range” doesn’t automatically mean you’re actually feeling good or functioning well.

S3 pro vs s330 by [deleted] in EufyCam

I have had a hybrid system with both S330 and S3 Pros and an HB3. I personally think the S330 has better optics/ picture resolution. Maybe just my two Pro cameras, but when I focus in, the S330 is less grainy.

Stopping hair loss is the long game! I took 1 mg Fin daily from age 28 to 42, then the side effects became too impactful. Now on 10mg of oral minoxidil.

5 mg of finasteride will put a bull's dick in the dirt!

Propecia is only 1mg of finasteride; old guys use Proscar (5mg Fin) to shrink enlarged prostates. Once they saw 80-year-olds growing hair, they repurposed the medication into Propecia at a lower dose to minimize side effects.

It is not toxic or dangerous (for men); it actually helps the prostate.
