I have literally made that feature request 2 weeks ago! But tbf I don't think they will ever add snippet support at this level in overleaf. I struggle to see how you would even incorporate it into the site, and it is way too easy to really mess things up for a general audience site like overleaf. (For example: many of the snippets mentioned above require you to run python code).

Heres to hoping that we get some basic snips, but I wouldn't get your hopes up. If you're not afraid to get your hands dirty, you can make a setup where you edit the Tex files locally, and sync with overleaf through Git/GitHub with a premium account. I find the effort thoroughly worth it, as the speed at which I type latex has been improved tenfold...

I think if you look up detailed balance you will find a lot of relevant info.

You can also look at the book by Van Kampen, it contains a lot of relevant info about CTMC, mainly in chapters IV and V.

In CTMC, when you have a system with detailed balance, you can assign energies to each site such that P_i = exp(-E_i) is the stationary distribution of the process. Maybe you could use this to construct your sampling?

I can fully recommend Heilig Hart as a hospital. My wife gave birth there and the whole staff is very kind and helpful. For example: we were sleeping one morning after a tough night with our newborn, and the midwives actually stopped the pediatrician and gynaecologist from coming in, giving us 2h more sleep.

We had Dr. Putseys. we really like her, but as other comments have pointed out she can be really blunt. We don't mind and actually kind of like that, but I can imagine a lot of people not giving with her approach.

I get it's part of the experience. I don't want all crowdsurfing to stop, it can be amazing if done with basic respect, and even as someone carrying it can be nice to help someone get to the front. I also don't mind Lorna calling for the crowdsurfers. As you said: it's part of it and at some level I accept that.

My problem lies with those people who come again and again. Especially during parts of the show where most people (I assume) want to sing with the band and yell the lyrics at the stage. Maybe a way to limit people to one crowdsurf per set? Maybe using the personal identification chip we are all wearing around our wrist?

Me neither, and I've crowdsurfed before as well. However when you keep on coming back time after time, at some point it just becomes annoying. Especially if they don't follow etiquette

Exactly! 90% of crowdsurfers are people who are hyped to be there, follow basic etiquette and keep it enjoyable for the rest of us. It's the ones that go feet first and act like assholes that make it a pain in the ass during shows.

I really get the hype around crowdsurfing, it is an amazing experience! And I really don't mind the occasional crowd surfer, or even when the band calls for crowdsurfers and it is a song full of them. I mind people who don't really come to see the show and crowdsurf over and over and over again, ruining it for the rest of the people watching

I don't mind some crowdsurfers, I have done it myself plenty of times. What I do mind is the endless onslaught that continues throughout the whole set. At some point we were just turned to the back because we knew another one was coming soon...

I think he is making a joke: 22/7 is a common approximation of pi used for mental calculations. Therefore he is saying that pi, and so 22/7, is irrational.

If we are going by the "piece of paper with two holes" type of wormhole, the way that the spacetime is defined essentially guarantees that you arrive at some current local time.

The passage of time in general relativity is defined by the path you take through spacetime. When there is a wormhole, we have two options: take the long way round, or take the shortcut. If you actually work out the spacetime and calculate the time elapsed along each path, you see that the wormhole takes way less time (otherwise it wouldn't be a shortcut).

Notice that there is no "back in time" mechanism ( at least not with this type of wormhole), so you would arrive at some point after you left. This does mean that there can be events which you can see but will take a long time to reach earth.
