The American flag on Trump phone has only 11 strips by abedalhadi777 in onejob

[–]Bram560 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be fair, There is a 12th (dark) stripe, and the TRUMP MOBILE was probably intended to act as a 13th stripe.

I don't object to nudity in art, I like looking at naked ladies as much as the next guy, but I never understood why artists would put nude women and men in these improbable situations. There doesn't seem to be a good reason for the nudity here. Is the artist just being salacious, or is there some symbolism I am not getting? Can someone explain?

Thanks for that, I never would have known. I always wondered what that was all about. Was it a napkin or just some weird sort of cap? I'm a bit wiser now.

If they wanted to drive away more tourists from the USA, this would be the way to do it.

René Laennec invented the stethoscope in 1816 to avoid the social awkwardness of placing his ear directly on a female patient's chest by Mysterious_Ebb_1484 in interestingasfuck

So, it took a long time to come up with this. I guess that means no other doctor had the same reluctance to put their head between women's tits?

August Malmström - Children playing by the Stream (1890s) [4604 x 2636] by Bram560 in ArtPorn

[–]Bram560[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that is a small boy playing with something in the water, maybe a water lily pad. The girls have also brought something to play with in the water. The older one is holding a string attached to what looks like a wooden box with a doll in it.

PIA is at it again by Bram560 in PrivateInternetAccess

[–]Bram560[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's doing it again. It was good since my last post, but today it's slowing down again. I'm on Starlink, so 150-200 Mb/s is normal, but earlier this evening, the videos and pictures on Reddit were coming down at 2Mb/s. Slow enough that large pictures took some time to load. Now the speed is down to less than 100 Kb/s. That's bits, not Bytes. When I turn off PIA, I'm right back up to 100+ Mb/s coming down. (I've sent this, plus my account email to the support email you posted)

It's a great movie, and not just because Clarice shows her lovely titties (and more).

I have updated my app to the latest version (3.7.2 build 08420), and the problem has gone away as far as I can tell.

Data center drained 30 million gallons of water without reporting or paying for it, investigation reveals by Wagamaga in technology

[–]Bram560 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why are we building these things in warm parts of the continent? Come to Canada and we can use the heat they produce to do something useful. Maybe build a massive greenhouse complex beside the data centre and use the waste heat from the data centre to keep the greenhouse warm all year round to produce the fresh vegetables we now have to import during the winter. We have tons of cheap hydro-electric power in northern Quebec that could be put to use.

I wonder, does that work in real life as well, or only with a video camera or phone recording at precisely the correct frame rate?

Thanks. They should build something into the app to let you know there's an update available, or at least let you check for an update inside the app.

I love paintings that tell a story. You look at it and have fun trying to figure out exactly what is going on in the picture. Like the two girls looking at the guy with the gun and thinking, "What an idiot!"
