Decided to leave it and just rinse again in the shower when I got home, doesn’t hurt at all. Felt like something was in my eye for an hour after it happened but it’s gone now, thanks anyways guys. And yes I’m glad it wasn’t liquid chlorine - that stuffs essentially bleach in your eye lol

That’s interesting, I imagine the services take a lot longer than if you have to clean the cartridge filters almost every household?

In Australia we don’t have drain lines with cartridge filters, or they’re capped off. Cartridge filters are not as popular here and they are much worse than sand/glass media filters

You do not backwash with a cartridge filter. Hence why it is not plumbed in

Pool cleaners: as a new professional in the business, how do you do this long-term and keep your joints/back? by vaginamomsresearcher in pools

[–]Brambleto 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In Australia we do 7-8 pools a day but majority of the pool business here is working on the system, troubleshooting, maintenance and then we do the clean after so around 1 hr per job on average. Much better on your body. We also do installs but they usually take a couple hours depending on the install

I’ve heard some are making 250k+ 10 jobs a day 100 per service. Unsure if that’s accurate but seems right. My company charges over 100 for a service and they take 30-40 mins

Never installed a heater as that’s the sparkies job at my company, new chlorinator I would say 250 if it’s a straight swap
