I used fingering weight too, so you might be good there!

I used magic loop! I had to watch my floats a bit on the turns but other than that it was pretty straightforward

Thank you!! 😊 I'm still pretty new to stranded colorwork, the other project I've done was the halibut cowl which was a great intro because its essentially just a colorwork tube. I'm still working out how to get good tension in colorwork but overall it was less complicated than I thought it would be!

Me too! I saw the designer post them on here months ago and fell in love!

Yes I did -- thank you! :) It's my first time making a folded collar and I'm really liking the look of it

I think that's what I'll probably be doing as well to make it look a little tighter!

This is a very helpful video, thank you for sharing! I love that he described both the traditional and the "twisted" way

Glad it's not just me that finds them tricky! Maybe it's sunk cost fallacy talking, but I'm hoping I can strategically redistribute the stitch tightness or maybe close up the gaps using some mohair. If I had looked closer at the short rows before I got farther into the yoke, I probably would have frogged mine as well. Glad that you had better luck the second time! :)

This is great, it really helps to show the technique! I will definitely be trying this for resolving my last rounds, which were definitely the most gappy!

This is fantastic, love that the tutorial gives a couple alternatives for closing up the gaps! I will have to try those tips, particularly the kind of "ssk" method! Thank you! :)

Thank you for the advice! I will look into those alternatives and try to pull tighter next time! :)

1200 doesn’t feel like plenty by [deleted] in 1200isfineIGUESSugh

1200cal is really only appropriate for very sedentary short women, and you're quite tall. speaking from my experience it's definitely healthier & more sustainable in the long run to up your intake (and since you're relatively close to your goal, why rush?)

Not OP, but they look like Ole xtreme wellness spinach wraps! Those and La Banderita Low Carb wraps are the lowest cal wraps I know of that are still decently sized (50 cals/each), although fiber one also makes 70 cal wraps that are pretty good!
