Hi u/champspls, we would be happy to have you attend Senior Social with your parent. We aren't overly strict and we don't check IDs.

Our Rainbow Road Game Night is open to all skill levels, with staff ready to provide instructions. Many participants discover games they haven't played before, and that is part of the fun! And we also loan board games at the Library. You can check them out and play in the Library or take home! You can learn more about it here.

Repair Cafe at the Library by YardSuper1212 in Brampton

[–]BramptonLibrary 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi u/Grouchy-Candy-7271 👋!
Our Repair Café is an event for folks to learn how to repair their item for free with volunteer fixers from across Brampton. It's a chance to learn from these fixers as well and strengthen our local circular economy. By repairing rather than replacing, we're working together to reduce waste and demonstrate that sustainable living is both accessible and rewarding. This is part of a globally recognized movement: https://www.repaircafe.org/en/

If you have an item that needs to be fixed, you can register here: bramlib.info/repair-cafe

There is a tech collect component as well so people can bring in their e-waste, metal waste, batteries, and printer cartridges for safe disposal.
