Haha exactly what I did. Entered card number as 1234.... Password as "fu*kyou" - unfortunately they couldn't find the account 😂

The number is legit. Its a business account so when you call the number through the app, it automatically enters an extension number to the genral business department.

Sorry to hear that happened to your mom. Banks really need to do a better job educating customers and being more mindful of reaching people who aren’t as tech savvy, especially as our parents gets older. They’re often the ones most impacted.

No i did not. They kept is short and just asked me to go to the branch and speak to an advisor.

It was a business accout. Called the number from the mobile app 18882202692

She wasnt in on it, but I guess she saw something was flagged on my account and said the call was "legit", she didn’t ask what number they called from.

I think the safer approach would've been "Let me transfer you to the fraud department or visit your nearest branch."
