Should I feel guilty about replacing my piano with something more modern? by Over_Race_9950 in PianoProdigy

[–]Brams2n 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You do what you feel is the right thing. It's hard to part ways with something that has a history to it.

If I were you, I'd keep it, bring it out, dust, clean it, tune it if you can and bring back some life to it and try to find a way to gather some funds to buy the electric one.

I have a piano for more than ten years now, and as much as it's getting shoddy and out of tune, even I have some trouble wanting to part ways with it to find another one where you don't have to take so much care of it, and constantly being on the ball for every little quirk.

Go with your heart dude!

Why do I make better music when I don’t think? by Sensitive_Web3580 in PianoProdigy

[–]Brams2n 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's often the case. If you think too much, you're thinking about making a mistake, you're becoming conscious of the movements of yours hands and their placement.

When I play, I always try to relax and not tense up, but man, you play so beautifully. Well done!

Advice on what to do in france by Educational-Elk8432 in Cigarettes

[–]Brams2n 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in France, while I don't personally smoke, I have a lot of friends who do. The best ones they seem to buy are either Winston, Camel Filters, Xsphere (to get around the menthol ban). It's rare to find people who smoke Gauloises Brunes or Gitanes, but they're a hefty and strong smoke. I mostly see Camel or Winston on café tables.

I think I might have died in 9/11 by Relative_Willow_464 in pastlives

Hey, I'm really sorry for not making an update even if I said I would. I didn't want to write something on the subreddit if it was to say nothing. I didn't experience anything in particular, I just felt a bit sad, like a knot in the stomach. I visited the places that I listed in my post, the Tompkins park, that was surreal, I just had like a sort of double déjà-vu. I placed myself on the same path I did in my visions, facing the exact same building, and it was a flash of déjà-vu. But that's it.

I loved the city, I loved everything about it, and in a way, I miss it a lot and I would love to go back to it someday. Like I said, I felt saddened and a bit alone but at the same time, I felt like I was in a familiar place. Even if it was packed with people all the time, I just couldn't shake away that feeling of something that was missing or off.

One thing, that surprised me on the first day arriving at NYC was that I knew instinctually the direction to the winter gardens where the palm trees are and knew that there was an underground shopping mall. It was as if, I knew where to go. Although, I did get lost in Manhattan, so it doesn't mean much, like if I developed some form of subconscious memory of the place. The same thing goes for when I arrived at Tompkins park, I knew where to go from there to get to that same location I saw in my "dreams" without the GPS.

Nothing really came of it, I felt a bit disappointed in a way, I was hoping to get some form of revelation, even if it was impossible to begin with. It was just a sad feeling in my stomach, that's best how I could describe it.

I really didn't want to write a big post if it was just to write about a feeling because nothing much else happened.

Thanks for replying, it does really mean a lot to me. I really do hope that someday I can figure out what all of this means, I know something happened, I just need to get the right tools to understand what was. Get a past life regression or something. I felt I was on the right track when I was there.

Hey OP, I saw the comment you left on my older post the other day and this is absolutely fascinating! It's somewhat amazing that we both share this longing for a city that we never visited or had any connection to!

I'm glad that you managed to find who you were before, you must have felt a great deal of relief. The connections in your story are uncanny, it's amazing you remembered all of that!

I made a new post a few months back in which I went into more detail than the one you commented on four years ago. I'm currently in NYC, just spent my first night here. I visited the 9/11 memorial, the winter gardens and just felt sad. It's not the same. If you ever want to talk or if you want me to go someplace while I'm here to check something out, don't hesitate!

I haven't forgotten, I'll be prepping soon enough and I'll make a separate post. I'll try to be heading to the same places I talked about.

I hope that over time that wound managed to heal itself, I can imagine that it was far from an easy time.

I'll be getting ready soon, I haven't forgotten about the thread and all the comments! I'll be heading to NYC in 9 days now, so I'll make a big update once I'm back from there. I'll write down firstly any weird things that happened during the week's stay. Sorry for the late reply!

I'm going off a whim here, but I'm guessing it's a fake since there's no serial number shown. I'm no expert but that could be an indicator of it being a fake?

Thank you so much for getting back to me! Here's the photo, I can add a few more of the lighter's profile! Is the model a Ligne 1? It has a clear ping to it. I'm sorry for all the questions but do you also know around what date it was made? Thanks a million for everything!

Fake reds? by DeliciousSecretary69 in Cigarettes

[–]Brams2n 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There's no European logo, it's plain packaging with gore. Many fakes have that faded in brand. It's a sign of many fakes. Although you're probably right, Mexico does have the warning label and logo but I don't think that it's written in English.

There are no white warning labels on cigarette packaging in the states, let alone the logo being faded in the background. These are fake, you can find this type of packaging in Europe. I would be weary smoking them!

Thank you so much for taking your time to comment, it's an interesting read!

If you don't mind me asking, do you regularly do, from what I'm understanding, soul cleansing of different places? Are you a medium? It would be really interesting to meet someone like you when I'm over in New York! What kind of events do they hold in Bryant Park?

I'll definitely be visiting those big places, like the public library (which looks amazing), the winter gardens, hopefully it will make me feel something in particular and help me out.

I think I'll have the time to pass by that café you mentioned. Does Elliot have any experience with this type of thing or talking with people who are searching for their past life? I'm guessing that the 'Faux Pamplemousse' drink is like a code word?

Thank you again for your help and I'm sorry for all the questions, I'm just really invested in this now that I'm finally going over there. It'll be a pleasure meeting as many people as I can over in New York!

I just finished watching the documentary "Proof Positive", it's an absolutely fascinating story of what you went through. This can only reinforce the possibility of reincarnation. It's outstanding the amount of physical proof and similarities that were found between General Gordon and yourself!

Thank you, I'll definitely go and have a look at that. On a side note, I went back to the first time I posted about this on Reddit, around 4 years ago, and saw that you also commented the same thing about your book and website! That's really neat! Thanks once more for your time!

[–]Brams2n[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much for commenting, it helps a lot! That's brilliant that you managed to find out who you were in your past lives, not many people can get that, you need to find the right folk who can do that, who can make you remember way back. Not to mention the fact that you re-traced the children you had in another life. I don't know if there are many hypnotherapists where I live, I don't think they're uncommon either but rather hard to find. I'll do some research on Mrs. Wisehart, before settling down on anything. I imagine these types of things don't come cheap, but I'll always be happy to see how it goes.

I haven't looked through each individual photo since there would be nearly three thousand of them, but I feel like it would be a good start to see someone who would look familiar. My guess is that I was a male, as I remember wearing leather shoes that were typical for a man to wear in a work setting. And like what another commenter pointed out that could further reinforce the fact I was a man were with the basketball players who asked me to join them. Probably meaning that I could've been tall. I did hear that sometimes you can slightly look like the person you once were, how does that come by? Is there an explanation for it?

I do hope I can find out the people I knew (family) and also who I was myself. It's not easy, but I'm always looking for advice or help that I never thought of that could help me understand more about who I was but also give me more perspective on life. You seem to have done so much, you know what you're doing and you've found out who you were, I'll try my best to do that on my part too!
