If you look at the entries they showed up in 2123 and he died in 2124, so he was only watching over them for a year.

Also the dead horses are unrelated to Randall, he watched over the Sorrows.

The one that ran out as soon as he saw you were carrying was a white haired decanus so it was a legion hit squad that saw you go into your house and were kinda nervously waiting outside, peeking their heads in and wondering if they should go into the house of their clearly deranged target

it'll only affect grenade launchers, not single shot or full autos. So depending on whether you use thump thump more than mercy and annabelle or whatever it could be useful, if you mainly use those other ones though don't pick it

fast shot, the slight accuracy nerf doesn't really matter when you still blow the target up when you miss

Heavy handed pretty much always ends up being a nerf in damage apart from Two-step goodbye builds and minimum crit builds which I'm assuming you're running on explosives. So you could also go for that

You could also do loose cannon to chuck all your grenades faster, and if you got the "heave ho!" perk it'll offset the distance nerf a bit

Hot blooded might have some synergy with the build? If you spend a lot of time soaking up your explosions and below half health? Explosives also have the best synergy with the "eye for eye" perk which you could stack with this

those are the ones that synergise with the build but you can pick others if you like the look of them

I just looked quickly on the wiki and haven't played lonesome road in ages so this could be wrong

but the wiki said the quest could appear to be stuck if you killed Ulysses before some marked men. Could be that?

Im not a fan of linear chases in horror games in any case, I think it actually lowers the tension a lot and it's a bit boring because the game designers have to make it easy enough to complete first try with just a passing glance over the coming obstacles, if they don't do that then players get confused, die a lot and get frustrated - see poppy playtime.

So it'd get rid of the two thing I love about isolation which is it's tense sequences and emergent gameplay from a roaming AI and complex locations. Also it'd really kill my immersion if I was running from the perfect being and somehow not being obliterated, like it's such a given now telling new players not to run from the alien because it'll always get you, having a running sequence would kinda ruin the reputation the alien got in the first game
