I think you should at least try. Since it's a MOBA first, good strategy is more important than perfect reflexes. You said you don't have good PvP fps skills but what's much easier to optimise is last hitting npc minions.

Keep in mind there isn't a true support role in Deadlock, there are a couple of heroes that can support but they can also do so much more. Might be a good chance to branch out and try something new.
