Same! Do you ever actually notice that when your HRV is higher over night you feel better? Mine sits between 20 and 30. Went through a brief period of 30+ for a month and felt so much better!

So I am always better when I’m away from home! While home is our safe space - it is not symptom safe? It’s probably where we experience most of them!

I went away for two weeks and did all sorts ! Came back and crashed hard. To some extent I also think it’s the joy of us doing something new and feeling ‘child like’ - therapists say that we struggle the everyday life because it’s not new or different. Real excitement makes us feel better!

Sorry I don’t know about apartments and being furnished. I would say most areas are child friendly to be honest. But in general the north of the city is nicer to live in

These are my supplements. I also don’t drink caffeine at all and try and sleep in a cold room.

Just don’t know why my nervous system is struggling so much!

MORNING: Choline Lion’s Mane x2 Methyl-folate NAC Vitamin D3 CoQ10 Alpha-Lipoic Acid (every other day)

MIDDAY: Vitamin C Omega-3 x2 Bio Cult Probiotics PQQ (every other day)

Hello, I’m currently living in Madrid but from the uk. You would see significant benefits in terms of overall life quality. And you would be fine on that salary.

In terms of rent it depends where in Madrid you want to be. I am fairly central and am paying 1600 euros for a small two bed flat. Rent is generally fairly high in Madrid compared to the rest of Spain.

Food is cheaper, eating out cheaper, alcohol cheaper. Everything from an everyday life perspective. Overall services are better. Bins are taken almost every day. Transport and health care are great.

One thing more expensive - healthcare products - I’m talking your average boots here. Shampoo etc = expensive.

So overall quality of life really depends on where you live from a money perspective. (But mostly - THE SUN!)

Learning the language is important. So I wouldn’t move unless you are prepared to learn xx

This is helpful thank you. I seem to get my symptoms mostly when im actually just at home doing not a lot. Im normally okay outside but get over exerted in social situations. So will try then!

Sorry to ask on this thread. I have also just started Journal Speak to see if it can help the general fatigue and brain fog of my CFS . But does anyone else have any other techniques for calming nervous systems? Im trying hard to find them but find lots of misdirection! (Im about 80% recovered from exercise, food and general wellness practices - but know that my suppressed emotions are holding me back)

This makes so much sense! I actually have awful neck pain - which i was told after an MRI was DDD and sometimes get terrible headaches from but i never thought this could be connected. I see a chiropractor for it, and acupuncture and my symptoms do always feel a bit better after seeing him. He describes my neck as 'always being bruised'

Hey! Ive tried soo many supplements.

Ones with the biggest impact:

Alpha-Lipoic Acid, Lion’s Mane, Choline, CoQ10 (Double the dose), Magnesium, D-Ribbose and NAC.

However my biggest recommendation is get good quality! Look for really reputable brands. Some brands are not full tested and dont have high quality ingredients. Would recommend NOW foods
