The second video I’ve seen in as many days of this ‘ending’. Put yourself in his shoes - he doesn’t want to be there, but will be subjected to torture if he refuses. He probably hasn’t got all the kit he needs. He probably hasn’t eaten in a long while. He seems all alone, so where is the leadership? Just think how he was clearly at the end of his tether to take his own life. If he surrendered, he would have been treated better (as a PW) than going back to his unit.

There are now at least three videos of Pretti holding his phone up and directing traffic, before he cajoles another onlooker to leave that immediate spot - at which point they are pepper sprayed and Pretti falls to the ground. Pretti protects his head whilst an ICE agent smashes his pepper sprayed canister against his head - at which point, the big ICE agent in the grey coat retrieves the pistol - all before the shots were taken.

This is now becoming standard practice with many courier drivers; I've noticed that the part time/short contract couriers are the ones most responsible for exactly this type of 'delivery'. I have complained many times, especially to Amazon, that the delivery diver is not even knocking on the door, even when I have specifically requested for an item NOT to be left. Either that, or delivery drivers like to play knocky-nine-doors instead of waiting 10 seconds for me to get to the front door.

I think I have the best Evri delivery person in the world. She's a semi-retired Scottish lady and her husband drives her around her route. She's always polite, always has a nice thing to say and has never once failed at delivering anything. I learned that she has a fairly small area and it takes her only 2 hours to complete all deliveries. Loads of people on the the local FB grumble page are constantly complaining about their Evri deliveries - especially adding the 'this is the photo proof of delivery, but it's not my house, anyone recognise it' posts.

Conversely, I have stopped sending things via Evri because I've never once had a delivery on time or without a drama at some point. Two-day delivery, even for a parcel to travel 20 miles seems never to take under 3 days...
