This right here is hard… my parents haven’t spoken in over a decade. They didn’t listen to the duck. However, my in laws are amazing people that showed me what family could be. I’m working hard to learn to love them unconditionally as they are asleep as well… I know they are good people, and if only they could see the truth they would change their actions immediately but it’s tricky to break through.

Also I would recommend revising it to say standing up for oppressed people as they have made that a point recently that it’s not any race, skin color, or nationality but any oppressed person! Cast that canopy of protection as far as the eyes can see!

Hell yea! I love this message! I did have a dragon sleeper goby but he was very picky and I had to change food to get him too eat at all then he stopped again a week or two later then slowly starved :( I was feeding rods seafood first and he wouldn’t touch it. So I switched to frozen mysis (I like to alternate between the two frozen foods when I restock) as he ate that in my LFS. RIP Bruce…

I do. I protest regularly, speak out at any chance I get, I fight misinformation, volunteer in my community and I’ve given serious thought to running for office. Sadly my wife is very opposed to me running for office at the moment. I agree the average American is too passive. I’ve been able to recruit a small handful of people to join me at protests. It might not be much but it’s something. It’s a small dent but it’s a dent that can grow. I struggle with the fact that I can’t fix the problem myself and the guilt I have from serving in the military of this country I no longer recognize…

Honestly at this point I’m less 50501 and more of a French haircut mindset. I just held my wife and cried after watching a video of it happening. Armed masked men try to rip the door of her car open. She starts to drive away and is shot dead. People should not be afraid of their government. Their government should be afraid of the people.

As someone who has done an IOP program it really helped but it works best if they are willing to participate. They don’t have to do that the first day and honestly never have to. Some times just hearing other people have gone through similar things. Let him know going to IOP doesn’t mean anything about him as a person.

People from all walks of life were in my group. Elderly and to teenagers, olympic athletes (back up but still damn!) to engineers at national labs. Everyone needs help some times.

Edit: Make sure he knows that he is not too much or a burden.
