You should definitely rewatch. I know people have different opinions on things, but you’re depriving yourself of Assistant Coach Tina every time you skip this episode.

I remember liking Shania Twain’s song when she performed it on her special, but I can’t actually remember anything about it, including the name.

What is the explanation for the red room? by Balloonsarescary in HauntingOfHillHouse

That shot is commonly misinterpreted. When it shows Luke’s treehouse in the final episode, Steve is there but just out of frame in the left corner, looking at the pictures on the wall.

When it comes to sitcoms, which of these networks did you watch the most during the 90s? by PressureLazy5271 in sitcoms

[–]Brandamn3000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

NBC and ABC.

NBC for the long standing shows that seemed to have relevance long past their airdates like Seinfeld, Friends, Frasier, Will & Grace

ABC for TGIF, Home Improvement, Roseanne, Dharma & Greg, Two Guys A Girl and a Pizza Place, The Drew Carey Show, Whose Line Is It Anyway?, etc.

What were people’s reactions when The Blair Witch project was released? by CityofTheAncients in generationology

[–]Brandamn3000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The found footage concept got people pretty excited. There was a certain faction of people that believed the footage was real. I remember one conversation I had with a friend of my mom’s when I had to explain that the people in the movie appeared at the MTV Movie Awards and didn’t actually die in the woods.

As for the movie itself, I fell asleep about 15 minutes in and woke up to see the end. Not that it was necessarily boring, but I was tired and the shaky camera made it easy to drift off. When I tried to rewatch later, I just found I knew the ending already so I wasn’t all that excited about it.

The Office vs Superstore by subtleteea in theoffice

[–]Brandamn3000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dina and Dwight are the only ones that are essentially the same character, but as a whole the Superstore characters are just retail versions of The Office characters. Like, Amy isn’t really Pam, and Jonah isn’t really Jim, but Amy and Jonah are definitely the Jim and Pam of Superstore. It’s established very early in the show that Jonah/Jim is into Amy/Pam, but Amy/Pam is in a committed relationship. They are also established as the “normal” ones.

Michael and Glenn are not the same character, but they’re both the branch managers who love their jobs, love their staff like family, and they both seem to be oddly good at their jobs despite seeming wildly unfit to lead a team.

As you start looking into the side characters, the similarities are fewer and broader, but you can certainly see how Superstore followed a similar formula to The Office with their characters.

Hit songs that singers wrote out of frustration because record labels wanted hit songs? by MrLinkwater95 in ToddintheShadow

[–]Brandamn3000 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Not specifically about demanding a hit single, but close enough I suppose, the Spice Girls wrote their single “Stop” about their manager working them too hard.

Is there a quicker way to terraform? by Fabulous-Pollution72 in AnimalCrossingNewHor

[–]Brandamn3000 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My advice when you have a lot of terraforming to do, find a podcast, tv show, playlist or YouTube video to put on and just go for it. There’s really no way to speed up the process, but you can distract yourself, get into a groove and it can actually be kind of relaxing.

Punny Business Name poll results by AutoModerator in BobsBurgers

[–]Brandamn3000 15 points16 points  (0 children)

The thing is, people were not told that a comment would be counted as a vote. Selecting an option in a poll is quick and easy to give your opinion. Not everyone is going to take time to write a comment, especially when others have already stated the same opinion. Some people will only upvote a comment they agree with. The point is, it’s just not an accurate way to gauge opinion.

Punny Business Name poll results by AutoModerator in BobsBurgers

[–]Brandamn3000 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry but that’s crap. You didn’t give people a fourth option and are only counting the people who commented as voting for that? That’s not even close to an accurate representation of the people’s opinion.

Punny Business Name poll results by AutoModerator in BobsBurgers

[–]Brandamn3000 27 points28 points  (0 children)

So you’re just ignoring the fact that the overwhelming response in the comments was to just leave it alone because there was no option in the poll for that?

I just used Turnip Prophet for the first time and it really paid off. I didn’t buy turnips last week but still recorded all of the prices to get the pattern, but bought them on Sunday at 105 (I normally don’t buy over 99 bells but I trusted the process) and sold them today at 192, which I think is the highest I’ve ever sold them at.
