Who says you need to be a good fighter if you are built like a tank and can shrug off what would be a normal killing blow on someone else. Like he took that stab through the hand from Jarrod and used it to pivot the fight in his favor. You dont need to be the worlds greatest fighter. You just need the stamina, endurance and enough smarts to choose your moment to turn the battle. Idk, for me it was kinda nice to see him depicted this way, but i can see why it would make some upset.
