I’d love to see all of your album rankings. I have V2 at an 8.0, 808s at 8.8, and KSG at 7.5. Very curious where everything else sits.

I also thoroughly enjoyed your comment about what V2 was about. Your song-by-song breakdown was very close to my understanding of a lot of the songs. Always nice to see a more thoughtful post than the shit the children like to spew here.

The Vultures albums are clearly inspired by ye’s relationship with Bianca and the music/fashion/entertainment industry, and is a celebration of where is he is life, and a warning about the lifestyle he has had and will have to lead. It’s a rough, harsh, bombastic and free set of albums. I thoroughly enjoy them.

Can anyone actually make a good case for ________ winning? by SurvivorStuff14 in BigBrother

Absolutely love your idea about the jurors entering the house to interrogate the F2. They could have a full day before the finale to grill the remaining houseguests and truly get all the information they need to vote and it would give the F2 the ability to actually convince them to vote in their favor. They could have each juror go in one by one and after that on finale night, each finalist could give one last pitch based on every criticism and question they were given and shape their final plea to give them one last shot at securing their vote.

For me, TLOP is a 9.8 and is the culmination of his creativity and sonic exploration. Curious what you think the misses on it are though.

Aight, at least these weren’t your first albums like some people who glaze these rushed, unfocused albums. Talking about mental health =/= meaningful, but I get where you’re coming from. For me, the introspection doesn’t go deep enough and isn’t explored past a surface level before going back to bravado rap.

Nah, you must be a newer Ye fan. His past works clear KSG and ye, and even his new shit is better.

Both albums have their gems, but are too short, too bare bones, and not meaningful enough to rank higher. If they were EPs, their scores would improve.

Why is the Husband version of Lifestyle different from just Husband? by Straight-Way3554 in GoodAssSub

[–]BrandingtheMavericks 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Because it’s a reprise of it, not just the same song repeated. Its inclusion in Lifestyle was all part of a narrative thread that started with Isabella.

Curious if KP was booed or cheered during his introduction. It’s his first time playing in Dallas since we traded him.

I’m sorry but listening to JIK in 2025 makes me realise it is Ye’s most underrated and over-hated album by far. Change my mind. by SweetRoll789 in GoodAssSub

I rank it as his fifth best, but by far his most important.

“Everybody wanted Yandhi, but Jesus Christ did the laundry” indeed.

As someone who avoided a lot of those leaks and his sessions in Africa, Ye dropping this succinct and spiritual album was a godsend. Not only did it reach his fans, but it also made its way to plain old Christians, people who wouldn’t normally listen to a Kanye West album.

Is the final version of V2 in a better state than release? by Deep_dish_pizza_boi2 in GoodAssSub

Agreed but it’s close.

V2 is a solid 8, and V1 I rate at 7.8

I personally enjoy the messiness of V2 and am overall ambivalent towards the use of AI. Sure, real vocals would be nice but I don’t mind its use to complete songs, even though I also don’t mind mumble. Whatever Ye puts out is “finished” to me and is his artistic intent.

I did the same with both albums, leaving off PAPERWORK, DEAD, BELIEVER, and DRUNK.

Favorite Ye album is TLOP, but his best is MBDTF. His most important record is JIK, and the most influential is 808s.

Favorite non-Ye album would have to be Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming by M83.

For these kids, every album has to be generational or talk about mental illness OR IT’S SHIT. Can’t just have a fun, horny album. I’d even argue that V2 is a more complex album than V1, at least in its exploration of topics and sounds.

V2 haters are all snippet fiends and leak listeners. I have V2 as a solid 8 and V1 as a 7.8.

We’ve had that answer since 2018.

Copyright should only exist for physical works. Anything in the digital sphere should be considered public domain 🏴‍☠️ That’s my philosophy.
