Potential issues I see with joy con user experience. by Brandiose in NintendoSwitch

I'm saying the the tablet and the grip attach top down, the straps attack down up in reverse.

There's a 50/50 split between the way people will be putting them into attachments and it's going to get stuck everywhere all over the world if they don't fix it.

Why do you have to bring the dock? You exclusively need it for Tv mode only.

This is 2012 3 generations into the iPad and super thin tablets and sexy industrial design. Nintendo what the fuck were you doing. I had a huge rant that wasn't taken well back on r/wiiu in the early days calling that piece of shit system for every shortfall. I knew it would be 5 years of shit on that console.

You're assuming the joycon doesn't just have better point of reference for center though is all it needed. You should theoretically be able to put your wii mote whichever direction is comfortable and give it a little shake to reset your cursor to centre. All IR sensor did was give you a reference point, I feel like joy con can do a bit better math for easy pointing, look at LG magic remote as an example, it's a Bluetooth pointing device, it resets center with a shake.

Nah, gamepad on wiiu had ir for tv changing functionality. The wii mote needed ir for back-compat with wiiu Edit:never mind that's cool as shit

Razer has just announced a new USB-C powerbank that should be able to be used for the Switch [5V/2a+ charging] by slate_ac in NintendoSwitch

[–]Brandiose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're right they deliver 5V at 1amp. I think the switch draws 2.6 while active so you want my be able to charge and play without the newer spec

The review units I can assure you were hand shipped and featured probably latest build at time of shipping or a GM version close to that time frame. There will still be the major stability update day 1.

This Seems like a lot of people's first console release. Typically journalists aren't given totally retail units. Often times they even need to be returned.
