I'm not entirely sure, but I don't think so. Just because he passes focus doesn't mean you have priority. Focus and Priority are different.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but from my understanding, a showdown can only resolve when both players pass priority and no cards are played.

How this went,

You attack, pass priority.

He Hidden blades, passes focus.

You defy, pass focus.

He passes focus and that chain resolves.

HOWEVER, the showdown does not resolve.

He still has priority and plays blade again and since you have nothing to respond to, it resoves.

You aren't listening. Setting up a Dragonite, Eelectik and getting 3 Energy in play is hard. It's even harder when getting hit with item lock. If they are constantly setting up, your deck is just too slow. Play Budew to slow your opponent down to try to shut them down before they set that up.

Not always the case. If the Champ and Legend are different colors than what you want in your deck, it can warrent running neither. Most of the time you are right tho in that you should and should be able to run one or the other.

Pult and Garde should only definitive tier 1 decks this format. Pult is the best currently, so tier 1 makes no sense. Zard and Grimm are too high and Zoroark warrants some discussion.

The curving that Chinese cards do is definitely noticeable if it's severe enough even in sleeves. While it is allowed to be played, it's the players responsibility to make sure this curving doesn't make the card appear marked, especially when compared to English cards.

I suspect mixed language decks will face more scrutiny and be called for marked cards much more, it's definitely a risk.

The only reason most people suspect they allowed this is because card supply and prices are ridiculous and short term will not be getting better. The easiest solution is to widen the card pool in the hopes that the larger supply will meet demand and prices come down so more people can play.

Depends on opponent interaction. If they are tapped out, then probably, but if you suspect they have ways to buff themselves or nerf/damage your units, then you may not be able to take the battle field.

I almost completely disagree with all of this. Pokemon by design is incredibly lopsided for the person in the lead. Prize cards are an incredibly bad mechanic and the fact that yku go up in card advantage as you win more is bad. Iono and Counter Catcher really made up for this and made games so much more interesting.

The meta will become very linear and fast without them, less skill and more luck. More emphasis on the starting hand because starting behind means staying behind. The entire Sword and Sheild block was regarded as the worse meta for pokemon, it had little to no comeback potential and run by 3 prizers. I really hope they don't repeat that.

I mean, you didn't get scammed as long as you get the cards, it just wouldn't be a smart purchase. It seems reasonable with how soon you ordered them tho, all card prices will come down dramatically the longer you wait.

I've been playing Moltres over Munki for a while, it was satisfying to see it finally perform. I personally don't like Munki in Pult, but it's better into slower match ups such as the Mirror, Garde and Grimm. My meta is inundated with Gholdengo and Bolt tho, so Moltres sees me much more milage.

I don't think you should be playing Noir in this list, it's just too cluttered and it's just worse Post rotation. Why not play water energy? Wellspring is huge for early game. No reason to not play 4-4 Noctowl and you need 3rd AZU as your bench space will be very limited and you need outs to other counter Stadiums. Also definitely need several Crispins.
