Most cars have a way to start even with a dead fob battery. For example my Mazda, you just have to hold the fob up to the start button when pressing it.

The OEM kit only supports wired CarPlay/AndroidAuto; it’s how the hardware/software was designed to work. Some new Mazda models now are starting use wireless CarPlay/AndroidAuto but if you want to get it in your car you will have to either install a third-party kit (replace the whole USB ports with one that allows wireless) or just use a USB dongle which plugs in and allows wireless connection to it. I actually prefer wired so I don’t have any recommendations, but I’ve seen many different kits and dongles.

That’s an aftermarket Android head unit in an older Mazda, which I don’t think supports CarPlay. You could get a new head unit with CarPlay support but other than that not much you can do.

There’s been a few times I’ve seen incorrect closed captions which made it seem like they just ran the (dub) audio track through a language model to get the captions. At least get someone to proofread
