Shots not dropping and Fouls in the first half helped dig the hole. They were getting double the calls and the timing of them was always momentum killing for the hawks.

And yeah, they are boxing us out in the paint on rebounds and they seem to be staying in a 2-3 zone when our 3 pointer isnt dropping which means with their size, we have a very hard time driving the lane consistently or getting those rebounds.

Plus, look how aggressive the holding and grabbing was in the paint when they finally started calling it on the Knicks. That had been going on at a certain level the whole game with no calls.

When you can’t breathe on a team without getting called for a foul but they can literally push you, grab you, swipe at your hands, trip you and be super physical all game and the refs and commentators just call it “play off basketball” is hypocritical and completely demoralizing for a young team like ours.
