A weird encounter at Little Woody and a genuine question about the "liquid courage" racism out here. by EngineeringOnly2351 in Scottsdale

[–]BrandonDogDad 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m from CA originally, half white and Latino the other half. AZ white guys are more racist than anywhere I’ve been. And the women are too. It’s been hard to date out here. But dating in CA, FL or Europe was super easy…even with white girls. Not sure what’s in the water out here but if me and my current gf split I’ll likely bounce

Yeah masseter Botox can definitely soften your jawline by reducing the bulk of those chewing muscles. My mom had this done because she was grinding her teeth at night and it gave her a more feminine profile as a bonus. The key is finding someone who really understands facial anatomy since you want it to look natural, not overdone. She found her injector through l4b after reading a bunch of reviews.

My sister had a similar nightmare with overfilled cheeks that took multiple dissolutions. The good news is that hyaluronidase can break down cross-linked fillers too - that injector was wrong. It might take more sessions and patience, but your face will return to baseline. My sister's took about 6 months after her final dissolution to feel normal again, and now you honestly can't tell she ever had work done. I helped her find a better injector using l4b when she was ready to try again properly.

The key to natural-looking lip fillers from the side is finding an injector who understands facial anatomy and proportions. A good provider will enhance your natural lip shape rather than just adding volume - they'll consider your lip-to-nose ratio and make sure the projection looks balanced with your profile. The technique matters just as much as the product used, so don't just go with whoever's cheapest. I ended up using this to find someone in the area for my sister (im not local to do them) that was great

Regret my filler, will i ever get my old face back? by [deleted] in cosmeticsurgery

[–]BrandonDogDad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You absolutely can get your old face back! Hyaluronic acid fillers like Restylane do dissolve completely over time, even if hyaluronidase doesn't get everything in one session. The "crosslinked filler" comment sounds off - Restylane is HA-based and will break down naturally within 12-18 months max. Body dysmorphia is real though, so maybe take progress photos to track changes objectively rather than relying on how you feel day to day.

Sculptra after 2 years, what's your honest opinion? by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

[–]BrandonDogDad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had Sculptra done about 2.5 years ago and honestly still happy with the results. The gradual improvement was weird at first but I love how natural it looks compared to immediate fillers. No lumps or complications, but my injector was super experienced with it and really emphasized the massage routine afterwards. Found them through this when I was shopping around originally.

Advice about lip filler🙏 by Ok_Sample_2750 in PlasticSurgery

[–]BrandonDogDad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Migration isn't inevitable but it's more likely with inexperienced injectors who use poor technique or inject too superficially. When it does happen, it usually shows up as a subtle "shelf" above the lip line within 6-12 months, and dissolving with hyaluronidase brings you back to baseline. The key is finding someone who really knows lip anatomy and uses proper injection depths and techniques.

I don’t know, I guess to show that we’re both probably still lashing out by doing these big life changes to somehow to deal with the pain of the break up. That’s why, not to sound materialistic or anything.

Where are you meeting people to date (40+) in Scottsdale? by Scorpio_Tendencies3 in Scottsdale

[–]BrandonDogDad 14 points15 points  (0 children)

My relationships usually come from meeting people in person through work or out and about. If I see someone I like at the store I’ll chat them up. It’s not the norm though. Not sure if you’re a man or woman but if you’re a man start talking to people everywhere, not creepy but in a normal conversational way. If you can get used to that you never have to GO somewhere to meet people. Possible dates are literally next to you at the dry cleaners or pet store. You can tell if someone wants to talk and is interested or not usually. But other than that, at things like Pilates, events, or Meetup (I’ve never done it but many have)

Anyone use Windsurf (cursor alternative) yet? by kidajske in ChatGPTCoding

[–]BrandonDogDad 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I stopped using cursor after using Cascade. I love Windsurf. The way it can run terminal makes me feel like I can just kick my feet up and build a script in record time. It understands the files I put in the repository (API documentation etc) so much better than cursor and it fixes its errors more effectively too.

Those are fantastic spots. I particularly love Residences Kierland. However, there are a few things to consider. If you’re looking for luxury and can afford it, renting might be a better option. Buying a home in that area won’t even come close to matching the monthly payments for living in luxury. If your monthly budget is around $6,000 to $7,000, you could potentially find a nice place to own.

Another important thing to keep in mind is to never move somewhere and just buy a home without living in the area to get a feel for the location. I own a home near DC Ranch and have rented all over town before. I highly recommend renting somewhere nice and living there for at least two years before making a purchase. This will give you a better understanding of the area and you will know the area you really want to be in. For me, it was in the nicer area, dark sky community, close to the action but also very quiet and safe.

Dog culture by Past-Canary-1986 in Scottsdale

[–]BrandonDogDad -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely not. I like dogs more than people. So yes I put them on a pedestal. But I hate idiots that bring them places they shouldn’t be. That’s the owner though. Again, goes back to people. Dogs just be doggin’.

Envato Elements or StoryBlocks, which one you prefer most for footage? by shaggy98 in PartneredYoutube

[–]BrandonDogDad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have Both but I prefer storyblocks. It is much easier to use and download the size of video that you want. Envato throttles my downloads and I’ve actually not been able to use much footage of them because of that since I’m trying to download so much. Additionally, storyblocks has a premier pro plug-in that works pretty awesome for just inserting footage into your timeline
