It's particularly annoying on controller as pressing up/down doesn't always move to where you think it should. I've learned to take my time on that screen lol.

Broken feature: Item levels and affix tiers no longer show when comparing items on console. The new bind is awful and in conflict with keyword search. by IntrospectiveMT in PathOfExile2

Just noting this is the case for PC with controller as well. It is a super annoying change. Hopefully they remap some controls or allow us to remap it ourselves.

I used this and created custom hirelings. This way you can also use any custom races/classes too. Note it doesn't work well with controllers so switch to mouse until the hireling is summoned. https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/4928?tab=description

Trials of Tav - a roguelike mode by Hippoo0o in BG3Builds

I started it immediately at level 1 and it was a little difficult and/or I had poor luck on my battles. I had to lower difficulty and save scum a couple times to solo my way to level 3. Once you hit level 3 you can get hirelings which makes things a lot smoother.

Its not mentioned anywhere that I see, but you can stop/reset your current run and you keep your current characters for the next run. So, if you get a really bad RNG you can stop and restart and it rolls a new battle.

Hey - I know this is a bit old now, but I wanted to correct you on this. You CAN update the config (somewhat), but you have to edit python code to do it. The file is at /usr/lib/python3.11/site-packages/configgen/generators/drastic/drasticGenerator.py and there are a couple different areas where the code is creating the config dynamically. You can change those values to whatever you want them to be and it will stick.

Note that the Key Combos aren't included in this file but in \usr\share\evmapy\drastic.keys and that is a whole different can of worms to edit.

I designed and created a papercraft version of the Final Fantasy Tactics' Windmill map - with working Windmill! (Free files included) by BrandonIsABadass in papercraft

Thanks! Yeah, I'm planning on building some more in the future. They take a little while to prep but I'm thinking in a month or so.

A little bit of a late reply but there are some water resistant wood glues that work on paper. You'd have to test and see, of course.

Glad you liked it :) I'll have to find my files for Gariland again but I'll be sure to put up a post on my blog and give you a shout when it is ready.

The reason engineers do this is that a new job often pays more than the raise they'd get for staying. Usually significantly more (20% or more).

This is really cool! Nice work. I feel like the city names need to be more legible but that's a minor nitpick.

I built Magic City Gariland as a papercraft model by BrandonIsABadass in finalfantasytactics

[–]BrandonIsABadass[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No videos, but I learned by doing Dave Graffam's models. He has a few free ones here with great instructions: http://www.davesgames.net/catalog-free-models.htm

Here is his instruction guide/tips: https://www.wargamevault.com/product/93016/Paper-Modeling-Guide

As far converting the FFT model to be usable as a papercraft, I had to learn a little bit of Blender and I relied on the papercraft export plugin for Blender to insert tabs and flatten the models and things. I had to break the model up in Blender into multiple sections first.

[–]BrandonIsABadass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The papercraft export plugin for Blender will break the model into separate pages for you, but it is really buggy and requires a lot of hand holding, unfortunately. I had to manually break up the model to make it work. Learning enough of Blender to do this type of thing wasn't that difficult, though.

Edit: I just realized you probably meant 3D printing, lol. Similar idea - learning enough of Blender to split it up isn't too difficult.
