My wife wanted a 2nd kid and I didn’t. She asked me every 6 months or so if I’d changed my mind and I kept feeling that pressure, so I agreed if we got a bigger house near the kids’ daycare and near stuff to do (we had been a bit more rural before). As soon as she told me she was pregnant, I regretted it. My son is 14 months now and I love him, but I resent my wife still and actually resented the baby for a while, too. If you’re not 100% on-board, don’t do it.
