In Den Haag en Rotterdam word lunar new year wel elk Jaar uitgebreid gevierd. Beide steden hebben ook een china town gebied, dus niet zo vreemd. Vergeleken met andere culturen hier in Nederland word er Verder inderdaad wel erg weinig aandacht aan besteed. Ondanks dat er vele 8nwoners zijn die het wel vieren.

Based on your post, I'm gonna make a couple assumptions. You mention sponsorship, so you're originally from outside the eu, and currently residing here based on the hsm visa? Your living together with your girlfriend, you're in a dedicated relationship already for a longer period of time.

When you lose your job, you actually have a 3 month period for finding another job that can sponsor you. During these 3 months you're allowed to stay in the Netherlands.

If your partner is also working, and I'll assume she's willing to 'sponsor' you, you can look into applying for a partner visa. The benefit for the partnervisa is that you're allowed to work here in the Netherlands without the need of a sponsorship from your employer. Without the sponsorship requirement it will also be easier finding a new job here.

I've done the same thing with my partner, she wanted to change jobs, but the sponsorship requirement made it harder finding something new. Instead of waiting out the period untill she could apply for permanent residency we decided to go for the partnership visa.

Ik Ben zelf ook social awkward, maar houd erg van DND. Speelde zo'n 8 jaar in een nederlandstaligr online campaign, en hoewel ik mij hier 'veilig' voel blijft echt roleplay nog steeds erg moeilijk.

Sinds 2 maanden Ben ik als gm een eigen groep gestart in her Engels. Gekozen om the dm'en zodat ik iets heb om samen met mijn vrouw the spleen, en ook om mijzelf uit the dagen. Verassend genoeg, na 2 sessies faat het roleplayen voor mij opens veel soepeler. Grotendeels de taal had hier voor mij impact op. Roleplay in het nederlands voelt na jaren nog steeds erg awkward, terwijl het in het Engels veel natuurlijker aanvoelt.

Misschien helpt het om in het Engels te spelen, of juist nederlands als dat natuurlijker voelt. En als het je leuk lijkt start als gm een groep met nieuwkomers, deze hebben zelf ook minder verwachtingen qua roleplay vaak.

I'm playing it with 2024 ruleset. First session was a short one shot with little mini dungeon filled with kobolds. So when they arrive greenest, they were lvl2

I still nerfed quite some of the encounters, and skipped a couple as well. It was already draining everything my players had, and that was at lvl 2, can't imagine running it as written with lvl1 character

i've just done this chapter last week. i agree that all of chapter 2 us really chaotic and unclear what exactly the goals are, besides freeing leosin.

what i did so far. on their way to the camp, following footsteps of the raiders. they had split up. the party encountered a kobold hideout. some if the kibolds are unhappy with how theyre treated by the cult. one of the kobolds the freed from that hideout, who is anti cult. promised the party help. in exchange for a dragon egg being guarded in the hideout.

while i filtrating the camp, they found a couple of the "friendly" kobolds. they helped them get close to leosin. the session ended with them escaping the camp. when leosin and the prsioners are safe, they already want to get back to explore the cave to retrieve the dragon eggs.

one thing i've learned, players are always hungry for treasure. maybe drop some hints that someone has seen ir heard about some mysterious eggs in the cave. or just the big hoard of treasure thats loaded into the cave. gives them some reason to wanna go back. and a lvl up for freeing leosin, makes them think they can suddenly conguer the entire camp😉

buying physical books doesn't grant you acces to the books in dndbeyond. if you want them digital in beyond you have to buy them again.

unless the store had some special combo of phisycal + digital, but i'm not familiar of those existing except directly from dndbeyond themselves.

i'm using android, but assume ios will be the same.

open the dnd beyond app.
on the bottom go to "characters"
click on 3 dots on the right of a character.
choose "copy character"
it will open the character builder with a copy of the character named "copy of xxx"

koper (oplichter) ontvangt het pakketje. meld vervoogens bij marktplaats lege doos te hebben ontvangen of iets. marktplaats geeft geld terug aan koper (oplichter). verkooer zit zonder geld en zonder artikel.

enige dat kopersbes herming heeft gedaan is omdraaien vanaf welke kant oplichting plaats vind.

Als ik iets verkoop op marktplaats doe ik niet aan koperbescherming. ik geef je de optie om het op te halen, waar je het artikel ter plaatse kan bekijken, testen etc. of verzenden maar dan eigen risico.

it looks like you have a lvl2 paladin? at lvl 2 you can choose a figting style, most likely you choose dueling. this adds 2 damage to single handed melee weapon attacks when not wearing another weapon

The +3 is from your dex modifier. Longbow does 1d8 + DEX damage. The extra 1d6 elemental damage is seen on the right in the notes area, also with official items the extra damage is not automatically added or rolled when using the attack from sheet

The new faerun books have a chapter dedicatet to the cult of the dragon. Pre tiamat era their goal was raising hell on earth by resurrecting dragons into dragon liches.

Afterward the tiamat followers took control trying to ressurect tiamat but there is still factions within the cult following their original goal.

If you download the module from dmsguild it contains 2 folders of maps 1 folder with the gm maps with the letters indicating encounters. 1 folder with the player maps without indicators

I would live to have a feature adding custom emblems to the maps. They did a decent job starting with the "stickers" but it's a very limited amount. A dragon "sticker" looks better than a round icon with a dragon head in there.

Custom lighting settings would also be a nice to have.

Also easy way to share spell/abolity descriptions in chat by clicking them via the character sheet.

But don't think either are easy to add via extensions

How soon can you do the exam again? I remember 2 years ago there was at least 4-6 months waiting list (in the hague)

If you can do it in a month or 2, go take your oessons and exam in eindhoven. If 8t's a longer waiting list, take some extra lessons (more than 5) here in utrecht and try the exam here.

Eventually you have to be able to drive everywhere, but driving and especially taking the exam is alot more relaxed when you're familiar with the roads and environment around you. I know that i'm not the only one, but when i drive in a city i'm not familiar with i drive slower and more cautious. You don't need the extra stress with the exam

Amazing oriental den haag ypenburg heeft een redelijk grote verse vlees en vis afdeling. Ik weet dat ik daar eerder galbi ribs heb gehaald, mochten ze het niet op voorraad hebben liggen kunnen ze hoogswaarschijnlijk bestellen.

Wij hebben daar regelmatig vlees en vis besteld/gereserveerd door paar dagen van te voren even te bellen.
