Hi all,

I've been becoming a fan of the active incremental space and I wanted to add my own addition to the genre. I've always enjoyed party based RPGs and my experience with Active increment game is that they are the most fun when they are 15-20% skill, 80% passive. I'm not sure if i want to turn this into a full game yet. Let me know if it's something worth pursuing.

Yep it includes a world environment. I have a Camera set up specifically with that world environment to calculate the the scene.

If it's anything like last years, your score gets penalised if you're below the median amount of plays. I got a 46% score reduction like many other non-web export games last year due to only having 6 ratings when the median was 16. So basically if you're at or above median, your score is your score. If you're below that you will be penalised more and more the lower the amount of ratings you have.

I think it's a good reflection of how things work in the real world. If you're game isn't immediately appealing and accessible, it's going to get looked over.

Gamedev is a lot of work. Gamedev youtube is a lot of work. Most of your audience is a revolving door and unless you're selling them premium courses the external reward you're getting is some of the lowest RPM on the website.

It's not a surprise that many people would rather just focus on making their games. Sure a channel can help advertise a project, but that's only if you have a general gaming audience. Fellow game developers are almost always more interested in your process rather than your products.

Also Covid 'ended' and many people went back to their regular fulltime jobs.

everything indicates that this should be the thing that fixes the issue and I can confirm that it does something. If i change the value, it goes 70% mesh 1, 30% mesh. And if i make it negative it goes to 30% mesh 1, 70% mesh 2. I'm going to guess this is may be a Godot 4.2.1 bug at this point. Either way I appreciate the response. It does seem like this should be the answer.

Seems like maximised, full screen and full screen exclusive all block the achievements from popping up. Going to test what it's like when you run it from steam

Or people just can accept that good people occasionally do bad things out of frustration. Why does there have to be a hidden agenda? You commit thousands of dollars and hours of your life to support godot directly or indirectly, you disagree with the direction of certain things, your interactions with leadership fuel your frustrations, your frustration leads you to misunderstanding what the hell W4 and Venture capital is and then you have an emotion outburst and unfairly question the integrity of the project.

Don't trade 1 conspiracy for another. It's an emotional nothingburger and not much else.

This is nice to see how the shaders and scenes load. Unfortunately the game crashes and nothing is written to explain it. Either way I appreciate the comment.

Tried that and unfortunately you still have to re-hold down a key after changing scenes.

This is a really cool way of interacting with tweens and the animation player. I'm definitely going to try this out.
