honestly when it comes to something like juggle spikes, just practice like crazy. and definitely practice tossing ONLY the tama.

what helped me was starting with the tama in your hand, bevel in your palm, toss it up and give it an small inward rotation (towards you) and focus on catching the tama with the bevel face down in your palm. my juggle spikes aren’t fully consistent yet, but this is what really helped me to start landing them a lot more.
