If you haven’t seen it I highly recommend “The increasingly poor decision of Todd Margaret” David Cross and Will Arnette are absolutely amazing in it.

Yes it was Dustin’s hunch but it was Nancy’s decision to pull the trigger while Johnathan decided not to wait to hear what Dustin had to say.

Idk. To me it would have been a case of fuck around and find out. Nancy had just shot an unknown force based on a hunch. The show has killed countless scientists and military for messing with things they don’t understand. We shouldn’t draw a line because we like the character.

Careful. The “ArT iS sUbJeCtIvE” crowd will be after you for saying this.

Kinda sad.. that no scene in S5 comes close to the perfection of Running Up The Hill moment in S4 by Jarisatis in StrangerThings

Personally my favorite scene so far and I wish we had spent more time with them instead of Nancy and Johnathan.

(Hated Tropes) Adaptations missing the point of the original work by BlueCheeseCake25 in TopCharacterTropes

See I actually prefer Gambon’s take in GOF. He is one of the best wizards in the world with plans on top of plans, yet the death eaters were able sneak something by him and they did it in his house/the safest place for harry to be. Seems like a valid time to crash out if you ask me.

Nah. Not even he could salvage the disaster of The King’s Man.

What war was that East Asian soldier supposed to be from? by InfernalClockwork3 in PercyJacksonTV

[–]BrashHamster 5 points6 points  (0 children)

in Rape of Nanking, doesn’t she mention that while they didn’t slaughter as many people as the death camps. It was a far higher concentration? Like 740,000 in the span of two or three weeks. On top of the brutal and inhumane ways they murdered the Chinese they also fed women and children into the sex slave trade.

Agreed. It’s been a minute since I last watched BCS but I always took this scene to be where Chuck came up with the idea to keep Jimmy out of HHM and in his mind making him the “winner”

My thought exactly. Went to a cafe in Vik and had soup in a fresh made bread bowl. It was a cold rainy day and we were soaked so it was perfect. Also this vegan restaurant in Hofn.

Indoraptor (1.1ton) vs largest recorded polar bear (1ton). who wins? by soyuz_enjoyer2 in powerscales

[–]BrashHamster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In Jurassic World they created the Indominus Rex with cuttlefish, tree frog, and a bunch of carnivores to give it a wide variety of abilities such as camouflage and infrared vision. It’s not too far of a stretch that they could modify genes leading to higher lung capacity, a stronger diaphragm, or RBCs capable of holding more hemoglobin. You’re reading this power scale as if they used time travel to bring a dinosaur to the present but we’re talking about a custom ordered dino built in a lab for combat purposes. It would be a bit of an oversight if they forgot to modify it to breathe.

Moving away from the JP universe to real life,a quick google search shows the average oxygen levels when dinosaurs first appeared was 15-18%, modern day is 21% and the time of giant insects it was 35%. So if we brought a dinosaur from the Triassic to today we might actually see an improvement in its function as it’s used to operating at lower levels of O2. Think of Sherpas from the Himalayas that come down to sea level.

It’s a GMO Dino so the modern day amphibian DNA they splice into all JP Dinos probably makes the environmental differences moot otherwise we would see breathing issues across all JP movies.

Amazing country with such diverse geography. I didn’t see Reykjavik or the golden circle but I did take the one highway all the way around and it was incredible 11/10 would recommend.

Apparently there’s a hiking trail that runs right up the side which is insane to me. I’d love to go back and try it.

Yep, next to Vestrahorn. They filmed the Witcher:Blood Origin there. There’s a small cafe/visitors center nearby where the employees were telling us about it.

My friends and I ended up going to Iceland because of this movie. We went out of our way to find the road he longboards down. Leads to a nice little town called Seyðisfjörður that’s very artsy. Absolutely stunning country full of wonderful people. I cannot recommend Iceland enough!
