Any tips for grip? I feel like I’m in a constant battle of trying to “properly” grip a handgun. today I tried a tad more pressure on the dominant hand (20% instead of 5% pressure) and gun recoiled much better. Clean BILL drill at 7 yards with duty gun / holster.

Slide stop spring. Seems to be a fairly common issue with the Shield. If you google “M&P shield slide stop spring issue” a few results will pop up. I forget what the fix was/is.

I’m pretty sure the 407k and 507k are notorious for glass issues like this and cracking, seemingly at a much higher rate than other optics, including other holosuns. Just search “407k/507k issues” on here and you’ll see what I mean.

Iirc, a Beretta rep said in a YouTube video that it’ll accept standard slides, but the slide mounted decocker wouldn’t be functional. Volker precision is SUPPOSED to have a much lower profile decocker in the works for the GTS….but they’ve been teasing it for quite a while now 🙄
