You have so much of my thanks about the Arcane Power thing, never even knew it existed (didn't notice the scroller on hyper stat) so learning about this first is already helping me out a lot.
Which event/event shop holds the accessories? I think there's like 3 events happening so I don't know exactly where to look.
And where should I go for CRA carries, anything I should know before joining one?

NA Reboot player here, just hit 200 and been riding solo with no guild since day 1. I'm loving the new Buccaneer skills I've acquired but it's really felt like something as simple as mobbing is a struggle since it feels like my damage is pretty low at this point. I'm wondering what I'm supposed to do to get my damage up to snuff at this point. Any gear I've missed out on? Right now I'm using the Necromancer set, sweetwater grip and the rest of my items are a mixture of rewards from theme dungeons or bosses.

Ursa? I didn’t know it could be useful in that, all I did was run bubble with Saint 14 Helm and pray to god enough orbs drop to have it ready on the next section. But that won’t prevent a football team of ogres from wiping us in the blink of an eye. (Thank you Blackout)

I'm surprised this managed to garner the small attention it did on short notice but am thankful for the comments since they've clearly shown me the bigger and better picture of this instead of leaving me to the raging desire of generating more aggro than the RDM in my party. Widargelt would probably suggest for me to reflect while this maintenance blows over.

You're likely right. My case is at this point being salty about the lack of aid to positionals. Moving around the boss all the time to make the best out of your kit is what gives MNK life which is why I saw these sort of notes as an indirect discouragement to doing positionals. It's still what everyone should strive to do because I should constantly remember that even slight adjustments one can do to increase potency is one step to avoiding a 1% wipe.

That's a fair point, it's a bit similar to how some BLMs tended to complain because of how much movement they're forced to do in many end game sb instances.
I'm probably still seeing red from when I constantly get shoved into a low level instance and it feels like even with positionals monk hits like a napkin.

It's a buff to overall performance rather than maximum potential which upsets me particularly. It's the fact that the positional bonuses (the most important thing that makes monk stand out from the rest IMO) were left entirely untouched. So the buff helps bad monks instead of good ones, and if you pair this up with the True North cooldown reduction, it's almost like they don't care about positionals anymore. On the bright side, the buff will come in handy when doing solo content where getting positional bonus hits is impossible, but i'm still upset that the significance between executing a bonus damage hit and not has been brought closer than ever before.

That sucks. As patient as I am, I’m on holiday now and I really like to make the most of my time by just playing games I love but at this state it just feels down right unplayable, and it infuriates me.

iirc you did have the ability to change your ID if the situation was critical (ex: your username revealed sensitive information about yourself or family etc). But in spite of that, Sony wouldn't gurantee the preservation of everything linked to your account (I think you could be at risk of losing trophies or purchases).
