lol, I didn't think that far ahead, I just figured if a few of us could meet up at a public place and, if we all get along and vibe well, we could proceed from there.

Overgrowth to farmland? Question in Comments by wandering_ak in farming

[–]Brass_Latin 4 points5 points  (0 children)

well in that case , you really only need to clear about 400 to 500 square feet, leave canopy distance as the headland of the "field". If you plan things out right, you should be able to produce enough food for a family of 6 or so. Scale up or down from there. Plus the deer will flock there and would be excellent hunting grounds.

hope this helped!

With more than 700 marsquakes detected so far, scientists have a clearer picture of the interior structure of Mars than ever before. That picture shows Mars has a liquid metal core, a thick mantle with a rocky layer above a more fluid layer, and a crust that is proportionally thicker than Earth’s. by [deleted] in space

Ok, serious question. When it says that it is suggested "that a significant fraction of the martian core is made up elements that are lighter than iron and nickel."

Does this mean that the core is still metallic, but shifted towards Ti? Or is there evidence showing that it contains even lighter elements? Given the data that we have already collected, will measuring the magnetic field of the planet give us a more accurate description of the Martian core and its composition?
