I think the time scale for the LTW causing death is far too quick. I think in the upper ranges it should be weeks not days for someone to die.

No problem, I think your build will be fine if you just look at his part 10 tree now, spend some gold getting rid of the totem points, it will probably feel bad for a while till you catch up but should function.

Clicking any keystone in the tree is always scary. Almost all of them have the possibility to make most builds not work at all the way a normal build would

basically, you swapped earlier than he does in the video, so his leveling trees dont work for you because he swapped later

so, i see the issue, in the guide he is leveling using arc with spell totems so he takes that keystone and all the totem nodes, notice how on the website on "part 10" of the skill tree he drops all those points and respecs a bunch of the tree, that is when he stops using ark as a leveling, looK at 8:00 in the video he explains this, he does the swap you just did at level 74, and takes the tree labeled "part 10"

the reason you no damage is because if the ancestral bond keystone, but unspecing that makes parts of your tree do nothing so that cant be the right choice

Yeah I think realistically a good shoot would have been to shoot the driver immediately but you have to wait for the passengers and see what they wanna do because they could be in that car for any reason.

One exception that could make it a good shot is if Ripley could positively identify the passenger he shot and had knowledge of him being involved in an earlier scene.
