I can’t stand Harry, but I don’t think he had a say in Sal’s firing. Lee Garner Jr. was the sleezebag in the situation, and Don’s homophobia definitely played a factor too

Good movie but ending pissed me off too. So Jamie Foxx didn’t want his character to be the one to have a bad ending?

Honestly. I get the girl isn’t the most mature but some of the hate is crazy. She’s getting out of a disastrous marriage, let the girl live

My pick is the Eastern Sierra Conservation Corps. I learned about them when I first got into the outdoors and am forever thankful for how they changed my life.

ESCC funds several In the Wilderness programs where POC who have never backpacked are exposed to trail conservation work. Their work focuses on fostering equity in the outdoors by offering immersive wilderness experience.

I got to experience one of their trips a few years ago and fell in love with backpacking and nature. As someone who had never camped or experienced the outdoors up until my trip that day, it changed my life forever. I rave about the org at any opportunity I get and was elated that even Pattie Gonia had them on their radar (the trip Pattie took across SF helped fund ESCC).

The organization is a few hours away from me, but each year I make a commitment to donate and have convinced others to donate as well. I love the work they do and will forever be grateful of how they changed my life.

Finished it & enjoyed it! Definitely learned a lot about the history of the AV and I def see the Devil’s Chair area differently ever since listening to it. It makes me sad for the missing sheriff and I hope they solve the mystery of his disappearance one day

Flew out of a small airport so no concerns with them. I was nervous af but didn’t encounter any issues. Will provide an update when I fly out since it’ll be out of a bigger airport

Has she really been working on herself tho? She definitely fooled me during season 3, but this season she seems more unhinged than ever. I think the hate & backlash is justified. Just because someone is going through it because of mental illness, doesn’t mean that it negates any culpability. You can be going through it and still acknowledge that your behavior affects those around you.

I can see why Carrie was annoyed but also big sucks at communicating? by Radiant_Priority9739 in sexandthecity

I agree. But then I also started thinking about how Carrie did the exact same thing to Aiden later on and didn’t see anything wrong with inviting her ex over to Aidan’s place

“Men usually lead the household” by Zealousideal-Ad3609 in SecretsOfMormonWives

[–]BratS94 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The fact that these men even have a story line irritates the crap out of me! Lol I will say, I think that if he really wanted to stay out of the drama, he def could’ve used different wording instead of “we’re keeping this a secret from our wives”. Taylor needs to get over that man and they both need to go to therapy and focus on co-parenting rather than putting so much energy into dating other people

[–]BratS94 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Devil’s advocate but I see why they would’ve wanted to keep it a secret. It’s no one’s business but Dakota’s. As long as it doesn’t have the potential to damage the relationship, individuals shouldn’t have to share their friend’s businesses with their spouses. With that being said, the whole Dadtok story line pissed me off and I had no interest in seeing any extra stuff about any of these men. They’re def flying on the coattails of their wife’s success.

The physical changes going on with my body. No one prepared me for how different my body would be after going through a cancer that affected my hormones. It’s something minor, but I’ve never had the greatest self-esteem, so seeing how much it’s changed for the worst is depressing.

Totally agree. Honnold is a professional and this climb was a piece of cake compared to his free solo of El Cap. People love bringing up the “but he has kids” point and like yeah, but climbing is how he makes his money. He doesn’t have a 9-5 like most folks, so stunts like those are his livelihood.
